Get ready to return to Tulsa. Paramount+ has officially announced that “Tulsa King” season 3 will premiere on Sunday, September 21, with new episodes dropping weekly. The hit gangster drama, created by “Yellowstone” mastermind Taylor Sheridan, will see Sylvester Stallone back in action as Dwight “The General” Manfredi—and this time, the stakes are higher than ever. The streamer also released first-look photos teasing the explosive new season.
What ‘Tulsa King’ Season 3 Is About: Bigger Enemies, Higher Stakes

According to Paramount+, season 3 will find Dwight’s empire growing—but so does the danger. The official description reads: “As Dwight’s (Stallone) empire expands, so do his enemies – and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.”
One of those adversaries is Jeremiah Dunmire, played by “1923’s” Robert Patrick, a liquor mogul with deep pockets and deeper grudges. His son, Cole Dunmire (Beau Knapp), is described as “wild-eyed” and spoiled—hardly a match for Dwight, unless underestimated.
New Faces and a Major Guest Star: Samuel L. Jackson Joins the Cast

The cast this season is stacked. Alongside Sylvester Stallone, viewers will see returning stars Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, and more.
Joining the cast in key roles are Bella Heathcote as Tulsa native Cleo Montague, Kevin Pollak as FBI Special Agent Musso, and James Russo as New York mob boss Quiet Ray Renzetti.
But the biggest addition is “Pulp Fiction” legend Samuel L. Jackson, who guest stars as Russell Lee Washington Jr.—an old friend of Dwight’s from prison, sent to kill him but ultimately inspired to start his own criminal empire in New Orleans.
This role will spin off into NOLA King, which begins filming in 2026. Per Paramount+, Jackson’s character will become the centerpiece of the New Orleans-set series.

Season 3 of “Tulsa King” was filmed on location in Oklahoma and Atlanta, Georgia, maintaining the show’s signature blend of gritty small-town realism and Southern charm. These atmospheric settings continue to ground the criminal underworld drama created by Sheridan in a uniquely American backdrop.
