A 33-year-old singer from Philadelphia, Renzo works as an elementary school science teacher by day, while pursuing his music career at night. He is the father of three children. “The Voice” is the second reality singing competition he has competed on, having made it to the Top 10 in “American Idol” Season 11.
On Monday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 20, Renzo (Team John) will be competing against Lucia Flores-Wiseman (Team Adam), Jadyn Cree (Team Michael), Jaelen Johnston (Team Kelsea), and Adam David (Team Michael), vying for viewers’ votes during the two-night season 27 live finale.
Here’s how to cast your votes for Renzo…
2 Ways to Vote for Lucia Flores-Wiseman to Win ‘The Voice’
Voting will begins when the show starts and remains open overnight. According to NBC, the voting window opens at 8 p.m. ET and continues until 7 a.m. ET.
As with past episodes, viewers have two ways to vote. For the overnight vote, the limit is one vote per email address per voting method.
The first way to vote is through NBC’s website. The second way is on the “The Voice” app, either via Apple for iPhones or via Google for Androids. Both the site and the app require signing in; you can create a free account that works for both or use an existing NBCUniversal Profile.
The Tuesday night episode will allow the finalists to perform with some blockbuster entertainers before the winner is revealed, but there will be no opportunity for fans to vote.
Renzo Is A Proud Girl Dad
In a post on June 18, 2023, to celebrate Father’s Day, Renzo posted a sweet photo of his family with a heartfelt message that shows how much being a dad means to him.
“I’m not the best dude, I’m not the greatest, And I teeter between good and bad too many times from the present to tomorrow. But If there’s one thing that never fails to put a smile on my face, even when my mind doesn’t want to, It’s my family. With you, I cry more tears of laughter than ever of sorrow. Often times the best of me seems like a distant dream, but you all are the reminder I was blessed with that I shouldn’t travel so far sometimes, that I should stay right here with you… If you read this til the end, I’m going to tell you what a man once told me: “You’ve got to get over your own ambivalence, get outta your head”. Another man said: “stay in your head, you’re dead”. I’m a proud girl Dad, with a lot to live for and a lot of work to do ❤️🏆,” he wrote.
He takes his role as a father seriously, as Renzo opened up in his audition about how he lost his father to gun violence when he was 4 years old.
“That was really tough on me growing up. There weren’t really many people for me to like look up to and say, ‘Hey, I want to be like this guy,’” he told producers. “I had a lot of love from my mom, … but sometimes think about, man, who would I have been if I had a dad?”
