The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks 2025 kick off tonight on NBC, but before the first sparks fly in New York City, viewers will get the chance to see a star-studded lineup of musical acts take the stage on The Rooftop at Pier 17 in Lower Manhattan. We are sharing who the 2025 host and celebrity guests are for the 2025 Macy’s Fireworks.
Who Is Hosting the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Special in 2025?
NBC announced that Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose would be hosting this year’s festivities. In addition, DeBose will be taking the stage for a live performance during the telecast, which airs from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
For those wanting to tune in, the show will be airing on NBC, or you can also stream it on Peacock. An encore presentation of the show will also air at 10 p.m. ET on NBC. In addition, there will be a Spanish-language simulcast airing on Telemundo at 9 p.m. ET.
Who Is Performing at the 2025 Macy’s Fireworks Special?
In addition to the Broadway star hitting the stage, we are also going to see an amazing lineup of country legends, rock stars, NBC stars, and former coaches on “The Voice.”
Before the fireworks start popping off in the sky, viewers will get a chance to see performances by the Jonas Brothers, Eric Church, Lenny Kravitz, Ava Max, Keke Palmer, and Trisha Yearwood.
After the performances get done and the fireworks kick off, viewers will then get to hear a 25-minute musical score produced by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and James Poyser, which was inspired by the “enduring spirit of America.”
While that musical score is taking place, NBC said DeBose would also be singing live. This moment is set to highlight “themes of community, resiliency, and shared connection.”
According to NBC, the Macy’s Fireworks 2025 will also celebrate some exciting sports news, including the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games and the return of NBA games airing on NBC this fall.
Keke Palmer Promoting Her New Album
Keke Palmer will be performing tonight on the 2025 Macy’s Fireworks. Besides hosting the “Password” show on NBC, Palmer is also in the process of promoting her new album, “Just Keke,” which debuted on June 20.
Palmer talked about the new album on the “Way Up With Angela Yee” podcast, saying it was broken up into three acts. She described the first act as being “how did I get here?,” and then the second being more about falling in love and what that felt like to her.
The final act brings on the closure in her relationship with her ex, Darius Jackson. This album mainly focuses on that past relationship, which she told People that he was really proud of her for the album.
