The season 27 finalists for “The Voice” will perform again on May 19 as they work to win over the viewers to gain their votes one last time. The winner will be announced during the episode airing on May 20, and fans are eager to see who takes home the title of champion.
Ahead of the episode airing on Monday night, “The Voice” fans will want to be prepared to vote. What do people need to know to ensure their vote gets counted?
Finale Voting for ‘The Voice’ Happens Online or Via the Show Apps
TV Insider notes that the season 27 finale will be broken into two episodes. During the May 19 show, the final five artists will sing again for votes.
During the second night, the finalists will perform with some blockbuster entertainers before the winner is revealed. There is no opportunity to vote during the Tuesday night episode. Given that, “The Voice” viewers can sit back and enjoy the celebrity-contestant combinations that are on the way.
There are two ways for fans to vote during “The Voice” finale. One is via the show’s phone applications. Versions are available both in the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
In addition, fans can vote online at nbc.com/VoiceVote..
Fans can vote once per method, per registered email address.
The voting begins when the show starts and remains open overnight. According to NBC, the voting window opens at 8 p.m. Eastern and continues until 7 a.m. Eastern.
Each Finalist Will Sing Twice During the May 19 Show
During the finale, TV Insider noted, each finalist will perform twice. One song will be something uptempo, while the other will be a ballad.
The five finalists include RENZO from Team Legend, Jadyn Cree from Team Bublé, Lucia Flores-Wiseman from Team Adam, and Jaelen Johnston from Team Kelsea. The Instant Save winner, and fifth finalist, is Adam David, who is also from Team Bublé.
The finale on May 20 will include a recap of the season and a packed slate of huge performances. Former “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton is returning to perform, as are Alicia Keys, Chance the Rapper, and Kelly Clarkson.
In addition, Bryce Leatherwood, who won season 22 of “The Voice,” will perform a song from his debut album.
Over the course of the final episode for season 27, “The Voice” viewers will also see performances from Joe Jonas, Foreigner, and Sheryl Crow leading up to the announcement of the show’s next winner.
