‘The Voice‘ coach Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, are celebrating a major relationship milestone: 11 years of marriage. To mark the occasion on Saturday, July 19, Prinsloo, 37, took to Instagram to share a lighthearted photo carousel that showcased the couple’s fun-loving bond.
The snaps included goofy selfies, sweet moments together in a car, and a kiss shared while relaxing on a yacht. The model captioned the post, “My person for life!!! 11 years 💍 today! @adamlevine deep sea baby…”
Adam Levine Keeps It Simple With a Sweet Shoutout
‘Maroon 5′ frontman Levine, 46, posted his own low-key tribute to his wife. Levine shared a candid image of Prinsloo sitting on a porch with a beer in hand and a dog in her lap. His message was simple and heartfelt: “Happy anniversary to my favorite person in the world.”
From Email Flirtation to Lifelong Partnership
The couple’s love story began in 2012 when they were introduced via email by a mutual friend. Prinsloo recalled in a 2019 Net-a-Porter interview that their connection started with a potential music video collaboration.
“Adam was looking for a girl for a music video that could do some action stuff, and our friend was like, ‘You should meet Behati because she’s a total tomboy and down for anything,’” she said.
Though she didn’t take the job, the pair continued emailing and fell in love through their correspondence. “It was such a natural correspondence that we kind of fell in love over email,” Prinsloo shared.
After briefly breaking up in May 2013, the couple quickly reunited and got engaged in July of that year. They tied the knot in July 2014 at Flora’s Field Kitchen in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in a star-studded ceremony officiated by actor Jonah Hill.
From Newlyweds to Proud Parents of Three
Just one year after their wedding, Levine and Prinsloo returned to their Cabo venue to celebrate their first anniversary, where Levine serenaded his wife with a rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.”
Since then, the couple has grown their family. They welcomed their daughter, Dusty Rose, in September 2016, followed by their daughter, Gio Grace, in February 2018.
In January 2023, they became a family of five with the arrival of their son.
Still Going Strong After a Decade Together
In 2021 People reported that Levine and Prinsloo grandly celebrated their 10th anniversary, hosting a party at Flora Farms with 150 guests in attendance. Now, with 11 years under their belt and three kids by their side, the couple continues to give fans glimpses into a marriage built on humor, respect, and love.
