Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are taking their Netflix journey to the next chapter. On August 11, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they’ve renewed their multi-year, first-look deal through Archewell Productions, securing more film and television projects for the years ahead.

“We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand,” Meghan, 44, said in a statement, as published by People magazine.
“My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally and celebrates our shared vision.”
Renewal Comes After Speculation Over Future of $100 Million Netflix Deal

The renewed deal follows speculation in July that their initial $100 million agreement would not be renewed. A source told People at the time that Netflix’s decision reflects a broader shift in strategy, similar to its revised arrangement with Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground production company.
New Projects & Holiday Special Announced
As part of the announcement, Meghan confirmed that the second season of her lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan” will premiere later this month. A holiday special, “With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration,” will debut in December.
“This December, join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration,” the release stated. “Friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home.”

The couple also revealed “Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within,” a documentary highlighting a Ugandan orphanage where children use dance to overcome hardship, which will premiere later this year.
Ongoing & In-Development Projects
Despite previous reports, the Sussexes’ planned adaptation of Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel “Meet Me at the Lake” remains in active development. The romantic drama spans a decade-long love story that begins with a chance meeting and a broken promise.
Archewell Productions is also developing additional projects across multiple genres, continuing their history with Netflix that includes the record-breaking “Harry & Meghan” docuseries, “Live to Lead,” “Heart of Invictus,” and “Polo.”
Meghan’s Brand & Star-Studded Cameos
Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As ever, launched alongside the first season of “With Love, Meghan” and will expand into new product categories with Netflix as a partner. Season 2 will feature guest appearances from Chrissy Teigen and chef José Andrés.
“We love José so much,” Meghan said at the TIME100 Summit in April. “I’ve been fortunate to have the people that I want on the show… We have a great, great lineup.” Read the Netflix press release here.
