Meghan Markle is giving her Instagram followers a rare glimpse of her adorable redheads- and we don’t mean Prince Harry!
After a whirlwind trip to New York City to be a part of the TIME 100 Summit, Meghan celebrated being back home in Montecito, California with she and Prince Harry’s two children- Archie, who turns 6 on May 6, and Lilibet, 3.
The Duchess of Sussex took advantage of California’s sunny weather to spend time with her brood in the garden, posting pictures that show both kids’ vibrant red hair, just like their dad!
While Meghan rarely posts pictures or videos of her kids, when she does she’s careful to only show them from the back. But that was the perfect view to capture Lili’s long red locks and Archie’s dark Auburn hair.
Meghan and Harry Focus on Family Time At Any Opportunity
We’re guessing that navy blue shirt is a favorite of young Archie’s, since he was also wearing it the last time Meghan posted a picture with her kids five weeks ago.
But it wasn’t his shirt but his mouth that his mom was focused on while she was in the Big Apple.
While on stage speaking with Jessica Sibley, CEO of TIME Magazine at the Time 100 Summit, Markle admitted she expects Archie to lose his first tooth any day now, saying, “and I just hope we’re back home in time for it!”
In fact, while Prince Harry traveled with his wife to New York City for the TIME 100 Summit, the couple did not appear on the red carpet at the TIME 100 Gala. Instead they jetted back to California to keep from missing Archie’s milestone moment.
Neither Harry nor Meghan has revealed whether or not they made it in time– or if the tooth has come out just yet.
Duchess Gives Inside Scoop on Season Two of ‘With Love, Meghan’
Meghan also gave fans a little hint at what’s to come on season two of her Netflix lifestyle show “With Love, Meghan.”
When Sibley asked her what guests are on her wish list for her podcast and lifestyle show, Meghan let slip, ” I can apologize in advance for saying José Andrés is going to be on season two. We love José so much,” Meghan said. “So I think my wishlist has been, I’ve been fortunate to have the people that I want on the show… I’ve been really lucky. We have a great, great lineup.”
According to PEOPLE, Andrés is a longtime friend and collaborator of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In fact, Meghan and Harry’s Archewell Foundation has supported the celebrity chef’s charitable World Central Kitchen since Archewell’s inception in 2020.
The chef and restauranteur, 55, teamed up with the royal couple to participate in relief efforts following the Los Angeles wildfires in January.
Meghan Markle Explains Why Her Show Isn’t Filmed at Her House
Meghan tapes her “With Love, Meghan” show at a home owned by philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla near the $14-million mansion she shares with Prince Harry and their kids in Montecito, California.
And at the Time 100 Summit, she told Jessica Sibley there’s a very good reason she doesn’t shoot the show at her own home.
“On this show, it’s a crew of 80 people,” Meghan said. “People said, ‘Why didn’t you film the show in your house?’ I said, ‘My kids are coming home for their nap.’ Eighty people in the kitchen isn’t really the childhood memory I would love for them to have.”
