Zac Clark Speaks Out About Former Fiancee Tayshia Adams

Zac Clark is opening up about his failed engagement to Tayshia Adams, but he only has positive words for the former “Bachelorette.”

“It’s very well-documented. I went on ‘The Bachelorette.’ I ended up engaged. I was in that relationship for about a year,” Clark said on the February 4 episode of “The Zac Clark Show” podcast.

“When those relationships end, which mine did, and the moral of that story is really, you know, two good people don’t always make a good couple,” he revealed.

According to US Weekly, Adams and Clark confirmed their split in 2021 after a year of dating. He proposed to her at the end of “The Bachelorette.”

“It just didn’t work, right? We played it pretty low-key, we didn’t do some big breakup announcement, but it started to get out that we had broken up,” he said on the podcast.

At the time of the show, Clark sang Adams’ praises. “When she walked in the room, oh my God, the physical attraction was immediate. And in our first interaction, I knew she was special,” he said, according to People.

Clark was later rumored to be dating fellow “Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe, although a romance was never confirmed, according to US Weekly.

According to People, the then-couple’s relationship became strained when Adams left to co-host a season of “The Bachelorette.”

She went on the “Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous Podcast” and said, “I think after that, it was kinda like we need to remember why we were with each other/ And I think that that’s absolutely normal.” She added, “It’s hard to be in a new relationship and then kind of go away for a couple of weeks, you know what I mean? And this is me being real and honest.”

When Clark proposed, Adams had said, according to People, “I’m ready to start a life with you. But also, I love you, Zac Clark, and I’ll do absolutely anything to keep that huge smile on your face, because you do everything to keep a huge smile on mine.”

In January, Adams posted photos to her Instagram page showing her trip to Paris, France. Clark’s posts on his Instagram page indicate that he attended the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana.
