It’s the moment “Bachelor in Paradise” fans have been waiting for for almost two years: Season 10 is premiering tonight, Monday, July 7, at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on ABC. Episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the day after. But what can fans expect from this new cast and change of location, and more importantly, will this season be worth the wait?
The Goldens Are Joining Bachelor in Paradise Season 10
In addition to the “The Bachelorette” and “The Bachelor” alums, this season of “Bachelor in Paradise” will also include familiar faces from “The Golden Bachelorette” and “The Golden Bachelor.” This is something to be excited about because their inclusion is going to bring an interesting (and never-before-seen) dynamic.
Longtime host Jesse Palmer shared his thoughts on the Golden cast in an interview with Decider on July 2. “I think it’s going to be really exciting and really fresh as well. There’s so much new stuff happening in Costa Rica, which I thought was the perfect backdrop for this season,” he said, noting how the location has changed from Mexico to Costa Rica. “Having the Golden cast was amazing. It brought so much to the show. And then having Hannah, who’s just incredible, she brings tremendous value to our cast and was so much fun to work with.”
What Is Hannah Brown Doing on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?
“The Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown will be joining “Bachelor in Paradise.” No, not to find love; instead, she will take on a new role.
Brown shed light on her job at the Azura Beach Resort in Costa Rica in an interview with Us Weekly in April. “I think of myself as Paradise Relations,” she said. “I am there to make sure that whatever people need, whatever the experience that they’re supposed to have, I’m going to be there.”
She continued to tease what her new role might include, saying, “People need help setting up a magical moment with the person that they’re falling in love with? I’m your girl. If you need some advice on how to express your interest in someone, come to me.”
Having already starred on “The Bachelorette” and being no stranger to reality TV (she also won the Mirrorball Trophy on DWTS Season 28), Brown can offer the cast members a unique perspective. Perhaps she can even help them deal with the unusual situations they find themselves in.
Who Is Cast on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10?
Reality Steve reports that 16 contestants started the show. Six women (including three from Grant Ellis’ “The Bachelor” season) and ten men (seven from Jenn Tran’s “The Bachelorette” season). The contestants are Alexe Godin, Bailey Brown, Jess Edwards, Kat Izzo, Lexi Young, Zoe McGrady, Brian Autz, Dale Moss, Hakeem Moulton, Jeremy Simon, Jonathon Johnson, Justin Glaze, Kyle Howard, Riquerdy “Ricky” Marinez, Sam McKinney, and Spencer Conley.
From the Goldens, who will visit the villa later in the season, fans will see: April Kirkwood, Charles “CK” King, Jack Lencioni, Kathy Swarts, Keith Gordon, Kim Buike, Leslie Fhima, Natascha Hardee, Ralph “RJ” Johnson, and Gary Levingston. Reality Steve reports that Faith Martin and Nancy Hulkower will also enter the villa at a later stage.
There are already a few spoilers to consider. Reality Steve reports that this season’s format will be different. After the fourth rose ceremony, no new cast members will enter the villa! This is major because it creates a lot of questions, such as how the cast will be voted off. The answers will come soon enough. New episodes will air every Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
