Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise” is shaking things up with a new country, a new cast, and a fresh look. The fan-favorite reality show officially premieres Monday, July 7 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and will stream the next day on Hulu. This year, the franchise has traded the beaches of Mexico for the lush coastline of Costa Rica, marking the first time the show has been filmed in that location.
Inside the New Filming Location: Azura Beach Resort
As per a report published in Entertainment Weekly, it was revealed that the new “Bachelor in Paradise” home base is the Azura Beach Resort. It’s a luxury oceanfront property in Costa Rica. “It’s more upscale and has a sexy chicness to it that feels more elevated than the traditional kind of Paradise world that we’ve been in,” said new showrunner Scott Teti.
Instead of bunking up in open-air huts, Season 10 contestants will each have their own private room, complete with air conditioning and personal pools — a significant change from previous seasons.
Private Pools, VIP Suites & Beachfront Bars
As per the new showrunner, Scott Teti, several resort features set this season apart: “The cast can literally open the doors to their rooms and swim out into the pool under bridges, and then up to a beautiful bar that is touching the beach. It has amazing views. The beach itself is private and unique… with a quaint little town right next door, but not a ton of foot traffic. It feels remote and upscale and sexy at the same time.”
There’s also a VIP Suite reserved for special moments. The two-story private getaway features:
- A private pool on the top floor
- A jacuzzi on the second
- Full kitchen
- Spacious balconies with sweeping views
‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 10 Gets a Stylish Production Upgrade
It’s not just the setting that’s getting an upgrade. The show’s entire production style is being elevated this season. “Everything about the style of the show, we’re trying to elevate,” Teti told Entertainment Weekly. “From new cameras and lenses to frame rates to the way it’s shot — we’re implementing an upgraded, sexy style across the board.”
Who’s Joining the Cast?
In addition to the resort reveal, it was confirmed that another returning cast member is Kat Izzo, from The Bachelor Season 27. She joins previously announced contestants:

- Jonathon Johnson
- Leslie Fhima
- Gary Levingston
Jesse Palmer is back to host Season 10, with fan favorite Wells Adams returning behind the bar. But this time, he’s not pouring drinks solo—”Bachelorette” alum Hannah Brown is stepping in as the new head of “Paradise Relations.”
With cast members from both “The Bachelor” and “The Golden Bachelor,” things on the beach are about to heat up.
