‘Golden Bachelor’ Is Hunting for Single Men in Philadelphia: Report

The “Golden Bachelor” is looking for its next lead in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Malissa Chappius Busconi, a “Golden Bachelor” casting producer, wrote on the Facebook page Philaqueens, according to Patch, “I’m a Casting Producer and am currently looking for single Senior men for the Golden Bachelor. Does anyone have any recommendations of places I can scout for older men in Philly. Bars restaurants etc. and which days or nights would be good. Or if anywhere will let me post anything. I appreciate the help. Thanks.”

The group is private on Facebook. The post shows that “Golden Bachelor” fans could be treated to a lead who is a fresh face versus one of the men from the “Golden Bachelorette” taking a turn as the second “Golden Bachelor.”

People Can Also Apply Online to Be the 2nd ‘Golden Bachelor’

Despite the casting producer’s post, the search appears to be broader than Philadelphia.

People can apply for the next seasons of “The Golden Bachelor” or “The Golden Bachelorette” online or nominate someone they know. The next “Golden Bachelorette” has not been announced, either.

The website says the show is “now casting,” and adds that the network is looking for “Senior Men and Women Looking for Love.”

Of course, some fans are hoping that one of the contestants on Joan Vassos’s season of “The Golden Bachelorette” could be chosen as the next “Golden Bachelor” instead.

Everyone from Charles to Guy to Jonathan has been mentioned as a possibility.

Jonathan Rone recently announced that he and his girlfriend had broken up, which increased speculation that he could be the next “Golden Bachelor.

“With a heavy heart, I want to share that I’m no longer in a relationship 💔 Thank you all for your support as I continue my journey toward happiness. I know my person is out there, and I’ll find them when the time is right. Thank you all for the love and support @joan_vassos,” Rone wrote on Instagram.

Chock Chapple, who won Vassos’s heart in her season, responded on Rone’s Instagram page, writing, “Wish you the best- my friend. She is out there!!!!! Chock.”

Guy Gansert, another possibility, has been traveling to Cabo and doing a photo shoot with his niece, according to his Instagram page.
