“Teen Mom 2” personalities Vee Rivera and her husband Jo Rivera helped two dogs.
On December 2, Vee Rivera filmed a series of Instagram Stories, which were uploaded on Reddit, about the small dogs, which were left in a rental property.
“The saddest thing just happened. I came with Jo to see this house. And the people — the renters — just left their dogs here. Like they just left them. I don’t know how long they’ve been here,” said Vee Rivera in her Instagram Stories.
She and Jo Rivera decided to bring the dogs back to their home and call the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). According to Vee Rivera, an animal control officer was going to take the dogs to the SPCA “so that they can provide them with medication [and] anything that they need.” In addition, she said the SPCA was going “to try and get in contact with the owner because apparently the owner is going to get arrested. “
She also said an officer told her that the owners were being contacted “to see if they will claim them and take the dogs back.” She said she did not believe the owner “deserves these dogs.”
“I don’t even want these dogs to even go back with these owners. But that’s just how it is. So if they do get in contact with them, they can claim them. But if not, hopefully they can get put up for adoption and go to an amazing family,” said Vee Rivera in the Instagram Story.
She also said that the dogs were going to stay in her house “until if the owners come forward.”
“I’m a little happy that they get to stay with me a little longer,” said Vee Rivera.
She also shared that she bathed and fed both dogs.
On December 5, Vee Rivera gave an update about the dogs on her Instagram Stories. Rivera said the owner collected one of the dogs. She said, however, the dog was later picked up by the SPCA after he was seemingly abandoned again. Vee Rivera then showed she went to the SPCA to get more information about the situation.
According to the “Teen Mom” personality, she was told that the owner of the dog “has three days” to collect him before the SPCA can give him to Rivera and her family. She explained she wants to keep the two dogs together so she can rehome both of them to a loving family.

Several Reddit users shared that they appreciated Vee Rivera and Jo Rivera for taking care of the dogs.
“Jo and Vee are precious, genuinely. It’s not forced it’s not fake, they’re just genuinely kind, good people. I also need to remember I cannot pull off bangs like she can,” wrote a commenter.
“A lot of people would have left the dogs in the house and just called animal control to collect them. Joe and Vee are amazing people for taking those dogs in and caring for them until they’re rehoused. I hope the doggies have lovely lives with people who will care for them!” added another.
Vee & Jo Rivera Have a Daughter Together
Jo Rivera and Vee Rivera have a daughter, Vivi. Jo Rivera also has a 15-year-old son, Isaac, with his ex-girlfriend, Kailyn Lowry.
In May 2024, Vee Rivera showed her Instagram followers that her daughter and husband surprised her with gifts and breakfast for Mother’s Day.

The U.S. Sun reported that Vee Rivera said she is not interested in having another child in a January 2024 episode of her and Lowry’s former podcast, “Baby Mamas No Drama.”
“I never saw myself having another baby – my pregnancy wasn’t the easiest,” said Rivera on the podcast.
