Sorry, Swifties, pump the brakes on any engagement news. A source close to the couple told TMZ that the 34-year-old singer-songwriter was not sporting an engagement ring, but instead wearing a “Super Bowl ring”—or more accurately, a fashion ring that paid tribute to Kelce’s championship status.

“She was wearing three rings,” the insider revealed, adding that none of them were tied to an engagement.

The speculation came shortly after Kelce, 35, surprised fans by posting photos with Swift for the first time since they began dating in September 2023. Among the 13 slides—Swift’s lucky number—were sweet, goofy photos of the couple cozying up to each other. The lock screen, however, is what sent fans into a frenzy.

For weeks, rumors have swirled that Kelce is gearing up to propose, but feeling the pressure from Swift’s ultra-devoted fan base. One insider previously told Daily Mail that Swift “might be ready to marry him,” especially after he reportedly supported her and her family during her father’s recent health scare.

Even though the engagement rumors may have jumped the gun, there’s no denying that Swift and Kelce’s relationship is entering a new chapter.

According to People, the couple is in sync like never before. “They’re in a really solid place and more in sync than ever,” a source told the outlet. “They’re both all in.”

That emotional alignment seemed to be on display when Kelce shared a very public glimpse into his personal life with Swift through his Instagram carousel on July 24. The post included 13 photos from his summer adventures, which he captioned, “Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 💯.” Out of those 13 shots, Swift appeared in more than half of them.

“Travis posting Taylor on his Instagram for the first time wasn’t random, it was intentional,” the source explained. “They’ve been private in their own way, but this was his way of showing how serious things have become.”

“There’s no pressure between them,” the source added. “But they’re very aligned on where things are going. He makes her feel safe and supported, and she brings so much joy into his life. They’re really happy.”

So while the ring may not signal a wedding just yet, it’s clear this couple isn’t playing games.
