As fans anxiously await the October 3, 2025 release of “The Life of a Showgirl,” Taylor Swift took to Instagram and posted bold new photos from the album. In the August 18 post, Swift poses in a Las Vegas-ready costume that perfectly fits the new record’s title.

Swift also used the post to alert fans of a limited-time opportunity to purchase “The Life of a Showgirl: The Shiny Bug Vinyl Collection.” On her official website, fans can snag a violet shimmer or wintergreen and onyx marbled version of the record for the next 48 hours. The site also features other album versions available for pre-order.

Swift Announced the Album Just Days Earlier

The limited edition vinyls (and eye-popping photos) come just a few short days after Swift set social media ablaze with the official album announcement. The singer captioned an Instagram post “And, baby, that’s show business for you” on August 13. The post included more stunning imagery of Swift in a showgirl-style outfit.

Unsurprisingly, the post quickly garnered over 10 million likes from excited fans. Of special interest for many fans is the upcoming album’s title track, which features fellow pop star Sabrina Carpenter. “It’s a lot more upbeat and it’s a lot more, like, fun pop excitement,” Swift told The Hollywood Reporter of the new record.

Some Celebs are Already Fans of ‘The Life of a Showgirl’

Despite its release being a bit over two months away, “The Life of a Showgirl” already has some famous fans. “I’ve been fortunate enough to hear every single song on here, so I know they’re all 12 bangers,” Travis Kelce told The Hollywood Reporter. This response is no surprise given how supportive Kelce has been of Swift’s music throughout their relationship.

He’s not alone, though; Zoë Kravitz gushed about the album in an E! News interview. Although she hadn’t heard quite as much of the album as Kelce at the time of the interview, she was clearly impressed. “I’ve heard some stuff, it’s fantastic,” Kravitz said. “She always brings it.” The actor also offered high praise for Swift’s deep commitment to her music. “It’s fun to sit back and watch everyone devour what she makes and she cares so much,” Kravitz explained. “She puts everything she has into it.”
