Singer Taylor Swift reacted to her friend, Brittany Mahomes‘ announcement that she and her husband, Chiefs player Patrick Mahomes’ third child, Golden Raye Mahomes, was born.
People magazine reported that Swift gave a like to Brittany Mahomes’ January 13 Instagram post wherein she shared her daughter came into the world the day before. In addition, the mother of three revealed her youngest child’s name in the post’s caption.
“Golden Raye Mahomes 1/12/25,” read the caption of the Instagram upload.
As fans are aware, Brittany Mahomes and Swift became friends because of the “Lover” singer’s relationship with Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
Fans Congratulated the Couple for Their New Addition
Several fans flocked to the post’s comments section to congratulate the couple for their new addition.
“Congratulations 💕 Hope you call her Goldie 💛 Can’t wait to see her ❤️,” wrote a commenter.
“Ahhhhhhh congrats Britt & Patrick !!!!!! Impeccable timing Golden 🤍😉,” added another.

Fans Guessed the Couple’s Youngest Child’s Name
In a July 2024 Instagram post, wherein the couple revealed they were having a baby girl, commenters guessed that they would choose a name for their youngest daughter that had something to do with the word gold as their older children are named Sterling Skye and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III.
“Rose Gold Mahomes… maybe? 🎀,” wrote a fan.

Patrick Mahomes Said He Is Content With Three Children
While speaking to KSHB 41 on January 14, Patrick Mahomes discussed his family’s new arrival. He said he has enjoyed seeing his two older children “react to” Golden.
“It’s been a lot of fun,” said Mahomes during the interview.
He also said he does not have any plans to have another child.
“I’m good with three for right now. So, we’ll see down the line maybe. My goal was always three. So we’ve had three. And we’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back. And get another one later on,” said Mahomes to KSHB 41.
