‘Survivor’ Winner Joins the Cast of ‘House of Villains’ Season 3

“House of Villains” is back for its third season! After moving from E! to Peacock, the Joel McHale-hosted series is set to premiere on the streaming service in early 2026. Though a specific release date remains a mystery for now, the official cast of the upcoming season was revealed by Peacock on Thursday, May 28, announcing the 11 reality TV villains who will battle it out for the ultimate prize of $200,000 and the title of “America’s Ultimate Supervillain.”

The series, which launched on E! in 2023, has seen the return of iconic and infamous reality tv shows like “The Challenge,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “Real Housewives” and “Love Island” to name a few.

Each season of “House of Villains” has similarly featured a legendary villain from the Emmy Award-winning reality competition series “Survivor.” On Season 1, “Survivor: Pearl Islands” castaway Jonny Fairplay joined the cast. Fairplay, who also appeared on “Survivor: Micronesia,” established himself as a villain when he lied about his grandmother passing away during the family visits in order to win a challenge on “Pearl Islands,” where he finished in 7th place.

Richard Hatch, who won the very first season of “Survivor,” also appeared on “House of Villains” for Season 2. Hatch’s run in the 2000 season was notorious. Not only was he openly gay, but Hatch also had a habit of walking around the beaches of Borneo naked, much to the dismay of his fellow castaways. Hatch similarly faced controversy during his appearance on “Survivor: All Stars,” where he left the game voluntarily in 14th place.

Hatch similarly failed to live up to his “Survivor: Borneo” glory on “House of Villains” Season 2, where he became the second villain to be eliminated.

Now, “Survivor: Blood vs. Water” winner, Tyson Apostol, has been announced for “House of Villains” Season 3.

Tyson Apostol’s Reality TV History, Summed Up

Tyson Apostol, now 45, made his “Survivor” debut on “Survivor: Tocantins” in 2009. While Apostol performed well on the season, making the Merge and winning the first two individual immunity challenges, his run is mostly remembered thanks to his rivalry with fellow castaway, Sierra Reed, who Apostol tormented at every opportunity. In the end, Apostol was booted from the tribe in 8th place.

Apostol’s villainy on “Tocantins” earned him a spot on the cast of “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” in 2010. On the Villains tribe, Tyson briefly joined the majority alliance before he was eliminated by Parvati Shallow and Russell Hantz for a 15th place finish.

The castaway finally secured a “Survivor” win when he returned to compete on “Blood vs. Water” in 2013. Despite competing alongside his now-wife Rachel Foulger. Despite Rachel’s elimination on the 7th day of the competition, Tyson would go on to win the season’s million dollar prize and the title of ‘Sole Survivor’ after defeating Monica Culpepper and Gervase Peterson in the Final Tribal Council vote.

Most recently, Apostol appeared on “Survivor: Winners at War” in 2020.

Apart from his illustrious “Survivor” career, the 45-year-old cyclist similarly appeared on Season 1 of “The Challenge: USA” in 2022, where he made it all the way to the finale before withdrawing from the Final Challenge alongside Domenick Abbate and Justine Ndiba.
