Season 2 “Beast Games” has officially wrapped filming at Amazon Prime. Hosted by YouTube’s most-subcribed creator, Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, the competition series welcomed 1,000 contestants to compete in a series of physical, mental and social challenges in hopes of taking home a staggering $5 million grand prize on Season 1. Alternatively, Season 2 reportedly features only 200 contestants divided into two teams based on strength and smarts.
According to Reality TV Fan, the newest season began filming in Las Vegas in June before moving to filming locations in North Carolina, Fiji and the United Arab Emirates for subsequent stages of the competition.
While the official cast for the upcoming “Brains vs. Brawn” season has yet to be revealed, the sleuths at RTVF have revealed that several former “Survivor” contestants, as well as a handful of other reality TV stars, are set to appear on the high-budget competition series later this year.
‘Survivor’ Alums Set to Take Over ‘Beast Games’ Season 2
“Survivor 47” star Susan “Sue” Smey is the first alum from the long-running CBS competition series rumored to be joining the cast of “Beast Games” Season 2. Despite being the oldest contestant on her season, Sue quickly emerged as a strategic threat, outlasting her original Tuku tribe members by allying with Season 47’s eventual winner Rachel LaMont. Though she was able to earn a seat at Final Tribal Council, Sue’s underdog storyline wasn’t enough to win over the jury, leading to her third place finish.

Now 60, Smey will try her hand once again in the reality competition sphere on “Beast Games,” where she’ll be joined by a trio of “Survivor” alumni who originally appeared on the series’ 43rd season in 2022, including Noelle Lambert, Sami Layadi and Jesse Lopez.
Placing in 8th, 7th and 4th, respectively, all three players were successful in making it to the Merge portion of “Survivor 43,” though none of them were able to claim the title of “Sole Survivor” or the $1 million grand prize.

Lambert, a 28-year-old Paralympic athlete, describes herself as tenacious, outgoing and determined, a claim that proved all too true on “Survivor” when the competitor orchestrated blindside after blindside, eliminating some of her closest allies from the game.

Layadi, a 22-year-old pet cremator, was similarly able to retain good standing with his tribemates throughout the season, despite his duplicitous gameplay.

Finally, Lopez, a 33-year-old Ph.D. candidate, was also behind some of the season’s biggest blindsides, including the eliminations of power players like Dwight Moore, Cody Assenmacher and even Noelle Lambert herself. With a target on his back heading into the season’s Final Immunity Challenge, Lopez was sentenced to the dreaded Final Four Fire Making Challenge, which he ultimately lost to the eventual “Sole Survivor” of Season 43, Mike Gabler.
More Reality Stars Rumored to Compete on ‘Beast Games’ Season 2
While not a “Survivor” star himself, Jared Fields, the son of five-time “Survivor” player Cirie Fields, is similarly rumored to appear on “Beast Games” Season 2. Jared did, however, compete on “Big Brother 25” alongside his mother. Seen as a potential threat due to his connection with Cirie, as well as his showmance with fellow housemate Blue Kim, Jared was permanently eliminated from the competition in 11th place.
Also rumored to be joining the “Beast Games” cast are “The Traitors” star Christian de la Torre and Jessi DiPette, who previously appeared on Netflix’s “Squid Game: The Challenge.”
It currently remains unclear when “Beast Games” will make its Amazon Prime debut.
