Returning to “Survivor” for her record fifth appearance on “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans,” set to premiere in February 2026, Cirie Fields has become a force to be reckoned with in the world of reality competition series since she debuted to reality TV audiences as the “mom who got up off the couch to play ‘Survivor’” on the cast of “Survivor: Panama” in 2006.
Since then, the operating nurse has returned to the series for subsequent contestant runs on “Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites” in 2008, “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” in 2010, and, most recently, “Survivor: Game Changers” in 2017.
Widely recognized as one of “Survivor’s” greatest social strategists, Fields similarly remained one of the Greatest-to-Never-Win when she joined the official cast of “Survivor 50” in May.
While the legendary player is under strict non-disclosure rules to keep the upcoming season “hush-hush” until its debut next year, that hasn’t stopped Cirie from teasing “Survivor 50” as the “Best Season Ever” in an exclusive interview with E! News.
Cirie Gives Her Honest Opinion on ‘Survivor 50’ Post-Filming
While Cirie remained tight-lipped when it came to revealing any juicy details about the upcoming season in the July 21 interview, she told E!: “I can tell you one thing about Season 50, and I haven’t said this about any other season.”
“Best season ever,” the 55-year-old proclaimed. “Not just because I was there. Best. Season. Ever.”

“I’ve watched since Richard Hatch [won season one]. I’m a fan as well as a contestant,” Cirie added, explaining that her glowing review comes not just as a newly-minted five-time player, but also as a superfan of the Emmy-winning competition series.
Cirie Reveals Her Approach to Succeeding on Reality TV Competitions
Apart from Cirie’s legendary “Survivor” career, the star has similarly appeared on competition series like “Big Brother” and “The Traitors,” the latter of which she won in 2023, pocketing the entirety of the $250,000 grand prize. She is similarly set to appear on the cast of “Australian Survivor: Australia vs. the World,” alongside Parvati Shallow and Tony Vlachos, in August.

Whether she’s playing “Survivor” or “The Traitors,” Fields told E! that her approach is “always the same.”
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?” she added. “Social and strategic is what works for me. I’m just an easygoing person. I make friends very easily, and I’m authentic.”
She continued: “People can spot a fake, especially when all of your senses are heightened. So authenticity is what really works for me.”
