He explained that he and McGregor spent months preparing for the battle, working closely with fight choreographer Nick Gillard to craft a sequence that was not only visually spectacular but also emotionally charged.
“The one that Ewan and I did at the end, our battle on Mustafar, that was something that we were really looking forward to getting to do,” Christensen told fans. “From the get-go, we knew there was going to be this big battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan that was going to result in this epic lightsaber battle.”
Looking back, Christensen expressed pride in what they accomplished: “We spent a lot of time, months training and practicing, trying to get the fight as good as it could be. Nick really told a story in that fight. I’m very proud of the work we got to do there.”
