Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s 1587 Prime Steakhouse Is Almost Here

Kansas City is about to get a taste of fine dining, Chiefs-style. Super Bowl-winning teammates Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are putting their stamp on 1587 Prime, an upscale steakhouse slated to open later this summer inside the Loews Hotel at 1515 Wyandotte Street.

With Noble 33—an international hospitality group known for its stylish restaurants—at the helm, 1587 Prime promises to combine football flair with elevated steakhouse classics. The restaurant is currently under construction, but a recent tour revealed luxe details including gold accents, marble finishes, and nods to its NFL founders throughout the space.

Inside Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s 1587 Prime

From the moment guests enter 1587 Prime, they’ll step into a tunnel-like hallway meant to mimic the walk into a stadium—a subtle tribute to the restaurant’s founders, according to The Pitch, a Kansas City food staple magazine that was given a first-hand tour.

“We’re just trying to bring something fun and exciting and put our stamp on it,” said Sacha Tanha, Noble 33’s director of hospitality. “Hopefully people like it.”

As diners move past the host stand and meat display, they’ll find a small stage for live nightly music, a sweeping wraparound bar, and a wine display that aims to match Noble 33’s track record of earning Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence.

For those craving privacy, the upstairs features a VIP dining room with a private hotel entrance and a two-way mirror—ideal for high-profile guests like, say, Taylor Swift. Another 40-seat room with skyline views offers options for private events, while the open kitchen invites guests to watch the chefs in action.

Though the restaurant is still hiring—14 positions remain open—Noble 33’s Matt Smith confirmed they’re working to find a Kansas City-based executive chef.

“Kansas City is an incredibly proud community that does its barbecue extremely well. We’re not going to come in here and try to show experts how to do barbecue, so we do steak very, very well.”

Steak, Style, and a Few Mahomes-Approved Surprises

1587 Prime will serve a refined menu featuring American steakhouse staples, including high-end local cuts, A5 Japanese Wagyu, raw bar options, and shareable à la carte sides. Guests can also expect signature cocktails, mocktails, indulgent desserts, and subtle nods to Mahomes and Kelce woven throughout the menu.

“There will be some culinary nods to Patrick and Travis, and some things they like and are known for,” Smith teased. When asked about Mahomes’ love of ketchup with steak, Smith just laughed.

By opening inside Loews Kansas City, the restaurant is positioned to serve both locals and the constant stream of conference and tournament visitors downtown. Whether it becomes a hotspot for celebs or a new go-to for KC residents, the buzz is already building.

With marble finishes, pro-level polish, and some MVP star power, 1587 Prime is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about restaurants of the year. Opening day is near—just don’t expect a sports bar.

Stay tuned for updates as Mahomes and Kelce’s 1587 Prime gets ready to serve Kansas City.

1587 Prime is attached to Loews Kansas City Hotel at 1515 Wyandotte St, Kansas City, MO 64108.
