Sky Hogan is mourning the loss of her husband, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, after his death on Thursday, July 24. The 71-year-old WWE legend died of cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater Beach, Florida. In a heartfelt message posted to Instagram on Friday, Sky shared her devastation, writing, “My heart is in pieces.”
“I Thought We Still Had More Time”
Sky, who married the Hulkster in 2023, revealed that Hogan had been dealing with health issues, though she believed he would recover. “I had so much faith in his strength,” she wrote. “I thought we still had more time.”
Reflecting on his unwavering commitment to his supporters, Sky described how much Hogan cherished his fans, even as his health declined.
“You meant everything to him,” she said. “He would have done anything for you.”
“To Me, He Was My Terry”

While fans around the world knew him as Hulk Hogan, Sky remembered him simply as Terry, the man she loved. “This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. My partner. My heart.”
Hogan Recently Underwent Major Neck Surgery Before His Death

In the months leading up to his passing, Hulk Hogan had undergone an intensive spinal procedure known as a four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion (ACDF). The May surgery, which impacted his spine, vocal cords, and breathing, left him in a fragile state, requiring frequent hospital visits as part of a long recovery.
His wife, Sky Daily, had previously addressed concerns about his health earlier this month, shutting down speculation about his condition. “His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage,” she said at the time. “None of those rumors are true. He’s been recovering from a major surgery with a long and layered healing process.”
Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died on Thursday, July 24, at 71. According to TMZ, the WWE Hall of Famer went into cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
