‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for July 22: It’s Sidwell’s Move

It’s a big week in Port Charles! First, there is the wedding that no one asked for. Sidwell is ready to make his move, and Portia is ready to fight back against Drew’s blackmail. Here is a look at what is ahead for the Tuesday, July 22, 2025, episode of “General Hospital.”

Willow Is 24 Hours Away From Her Wedding

Today’s GH teaser clip opens with Willow telling Liz, “Tomorrow I become Mrs. Drew Cain.” But will it happen? There are so many things in play before Willow walks down that aisle. We know that Portia is going to try to talk some sense into her about her man. Nina and Curtis both seem to be gravitating towards telling Willow a secret that might change her mind about the man that she is marrying.

The clip then jumps to Tracy telling someone, “That’s never gonna happen.” Is she talking to Willow? If so, her statement likely has something to do with Willow regaining custody of her children after marrying Drew. Tracy could also be locked into a verbal battle with Martin.

Portia Is Ready to Fight Back

The next scene shows Dr. Gannon telling Portia that if she’s going to go down, go out swinging. Drew has been blackmailing her for months, and his latest demand was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Portia. She will not tamper with Michael’s records to make it look like he has a drug problem so that the court will give custody of his children back to Willow.

Portia is ready to come clean about altering Heather Webber’s lab results, but she may risk losing her medical license and facing jail time for it. Still, Portia is ready because she knows that it’s the only way to get out from under Drew’s thumb.

Marco’s Abduction Causes Ripples

Sonny has kidnapped Marco and has him locked away in a secure location. Lucas has finally gone to the PCPD, where ADA Turner insists that this situation must be treated like an abduction. We then see Sidwell on the phone, telling someone that he expects to get what he wants in return. Is he trying to negotiate with Sonny? Or is Sidwell hatching a new plan?

In the final scene of today’s “General Hospital” teaser, Laura appears panicked as Sonny tells someone, “If you don’t, I will.”
