‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for Aug. 8: Communication Is Key

The latest spoiler clip for GH is out, and it’s going to be a busy day in Port Charles! Anna wants to continue a conversation, Drew seeks out Liz, and Alexis needs Jason’s help.

Will Carly Learn About Her Daughter’s Real Job?

On Friday’s episode of GH, spoilers tell us that Carly will pitch an idea to Jack Brennan. She might be planning a getaway since they haven’t had much time together recently. Neither one of them is thrilled to be interrupted by Anna, who says, “We have some unfinished business.” Is she talking about WSB business with Jack? Or is it what she intended to tell Carly about her daughter, before Jack intervened the last time?

Dante and Lulu both arrive at Laura’s office for a meeting. She has to tell them something, and it likely has to do with Sonny and Rocco. The spoiler clip shows them furious. Is it because of whatever news Laura delivers?

Jordan and Curtis also share a moment in today’s episode. He updates her on where things stand with Drew and also the status of his marriage to Portia. “It wouldn’t have happened at all if it weren’t for you,” he tells his ex. Did her support help him to get through the rocky patch with Portia? Or is Curtis talking about something different?

Speaking of Drew, it was only a matter of time before he was going to hunt Liz down for a conversation. Since she has opened her home to Willow, Liz is her closest confidant, and Drew needs an in. “Do you think that Willow is better off now?” he asks her. What will Liz’s response be? She’s rarely one to mince words or lie, so will she give Drew an earful?

Can Jason Help Alexis?

Based on today’s spoiler clip, it looks like Anna is going to fill Jason in on everything she now suspects about Britt being alive.

Alexis also corners Jason about her granddaughter, Scout. Instead of keeping her in Port Charles, Drew plans to move her to DC. “Isn’t this supposed to be about what Scout needs?” Alexis vents. Does she have an idea of how Jason can help his niece? When Sam died, the plan was to keep her children near each other because of their bond, and Alexis is desperate to do that.

Britt is still at the resort in Croatia and has been let out of her room. She is lounging by the pool when someone is sent to get her. Britt isn’t cooperating and tells the person, “You can tell him I’m on strike.”
