Oh, what a day in Port Charles. Dante has hatched a few new plans, Michael is ready to take another step, and Willow is inching closer to Chase. Plus, Drew strikes again, this time with Molly.
Here is a full recap of “General Hospital” for Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025!
The Ashford’s Try to Fix What Has Been Broken

It has been a difficult few months for everyone in the Ashford family, but they seem to be getting things back on track. Curtis stops by at GH to see Portia. He tells his wife that he has a special dinner planned for her. She is thrilled that they are working on their marriage, and Isaiah is nearby, taking it all in. After Curtis leaves, Portia shares her excitement with him. He wants to tell her that he saw Curtis with Jordan, but decides to hold back.
Curtis bumps into Michael as he is leaving the hospital, and thanks him for all of his support. Curtis believes that Michael’s words of wisdom helped him save his marriage.
Meanwhile, at the Metro Court pool, Trina is talking to Stella, who would love to see her reconcile with Kai. Trina explains that he betrayed her trust in favor of Drew, and she can’t forgive his lack of loyalty. Trina believes that Kai loves her, but it’s too late for that now. Kai shows up, and Trina excuses herself. Stella tells him that it may not be too late to fix things, but that he’ll need to work harder.
Sonny has brought Donna to the pool, and they catch up with Gio. Donna asks him to play his violin for her birthday, and Gio reminds her that his instrument is broken. He tells her that he wouldn’t miss her party for anything. After she goes to swim, Sonny and Gio talk about how he is still avoiding Brook Lynn and Dante. Gio says that time has healed nothing, and Sonny promises him that his parents are genuinely great people.
Dante Has a Few Ideas in Mind

At the Qs, Dante checks in with Michael about baby Daisy. Michael recently said that he believed it was Willow who was messing with the child and Sasha’s sanity. Since she effectively hid from all of the security footage, Dante suggests pulling traffic cam footage that will likely put Willow on the property. Michael thinks it’s a great idea, and Brook Lynn appears as they finish talking.
Dante was looking for her because he thought that they had given Gio enough time to cool off. Dante believes that they need to approach Gio together to discuss things. BLQ tries to get him to speak to Gio alone, but Dante insists that, as his parents, they must do it together. She finally agrees that they need to make the first move.
Meanwhile, Chase is running in the park when he sees Willow sitting on a bench. She tells him about slapping Lucas, and Chase naturally assumes she was provoked. He doesn’t know her to be violent, and she appreciates him giving her the benefit of the doubt. Chase tells Willow that the action was wrong, but Lucas might have deserved it. They continue to bond, and he ends up telling her about the adoption process that he and Brook Lynn started, which has been put on hold. He explains that his wife now wants things to be okay with Gio before they start their own family.
Drew Strikes Again

Anna drops by Jordan’s new apartment to check it out. Jordan explains that she is beginning to live a bigger lifestyle because she has the money, and also, Sidwell may be suspicious if she doesn’t. She tells Anna that she hasn’t seen even a hint of illegal activity from Sidwell’s organization. Anna appears more concerned with Jordan’s income. She asks her if she will be able to walk away from the lifestyle when she does find something illegal.
Meanwhile, at the Metro Court, Molly is seated for lunch with ADA Turner. She tells her that she just received a costly gift and assumes it came from Sonny. She can’t accept it. Sonny eventually approached Turner, and she mentioned the gift. She threatens him with harassment charges if he sent it.
Sonny then joins Laura at the bar, and she asks him point-blank if he kidnapped Marco. Sonny tells her that he is trying to steer clear of trouble and anything that could ruin her reputation as Mayor. She doesn’t want him risking his safety for her, and Laura tells him that she knows Port Charles is better with him in charge than with Sidwell.
At a table nearby, Drew tells Kai that he wants to move with Scout to DC as quickly as possible. When Kai questions taking Scout away from her family, Drew reassures him that everything will be fine. He then tells Kai that once he leaves, he will need Kai to be his eyes and ears in Port Charles.
When Kai leaves, Molly takes the open seat at Drew’s table. She pleads a very calm case for him to keep Scout nearby with her family. Drew even acknowledges that Molly should have been the family negotiator, but now it’s too late. He says that Scout is going to DC with him, and she will have no contact with Alexis or her aunts. Molly looks stunned to hear that Scout will be removed from her life, too.
