‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for Aug. 12: Rachel Testifies

Johnny’s trial rolls on during the latest episode of “Days of Our Lives.” Today, Rachel takes the stand to testify against her cousin, and EJ has another session with Marlena. Belle and Johnny bond over the wreckage that this trial has left them with, and Amy tries to reach her daughter.

EJ’s Games Have Left Both Belle and Johnny Furious

Today’s spoilers show that Leo and Javi receive a note that appears to be left for them. It may have something to do with the baby that they have been fostering for the last several weeks. Will they learn that this is Sophia and Tate’s son? While caring for a newborn is stressful, Javi and Leo have made the best of it. They now realize that the child has brought them even closer together.

Johnny’s trial continues, and he is more nervous than ever. His freedom is hanging in the balance, and he lacks confidence after his father’s latest courtroom stunt. EJ forced Johnny to reveal, while under oath, that his father and Belle Black, the District Attorney, have a relationship. The disclosure didn’t land well with the judge and successfully broke Belle and EJ’s romance.

Belle and Johnny take a moment today to commiserate over how this trial has threatened to ruin both of their lives. He had no idea that his father/lawyer would use him to divulge his romance with Belle. She has since told EJ that he is now dead to her.

Rachel Must Testify in Johnny’s Trial

Kristen and Brady’s daughter has been called to testify in Johnny’s case. Rachel saw her cousin with a gun on the night that EJ was shot, and now she needs to share that information under oath. Rachel is afraid that her testimony will send Johnny to jail for the rest of his life. Kristen hugs her daughter and tries to be as supportive as possible before Rachel takes the stand. She convinces her that telling the truth is what she must do and that she shouldn’t feel guilty about it.

Brady is also at the courthouse to support his young daughter. There is only so much that he and Kristen can say. Rachel knows what she needs to do.
