‘B&B’ Star Scott Clifton Thinks It’s About Time Bill Gets in the Loop

“The Bold and the Beautiful” star Scott Clifton believes Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has been left in the dark for too long, and it’s time he learns the truth about Liam Spencer’s condition.

Following the deadly shootout by Luna Nozawa, Bill may finally get the chance to know what’s really going on with his son. Liam has been very stubborn about keeping his diagnosis under wraps even from his dad.

‘The Bold & the Beautiful’: It’s Time Bill Learned the Truth About Liam

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Clifton points out what many “The Bold and the Beautiful” viewers have been waiting for since Liam first discovered his brain tumor. It’s no secret that Bill still has no idea about his son’s diagnosis and Clifton thinks it’s time for that to change.

The actor believes that Liam being shot opens the perfect opportunity to let Bill know the truth once and for all.

“If the ball rolls off the roof the other way and it turns out that this is not Liam’s demise, well, he’s still got the brain tumor to worry about, obviously,” Clifton points out. “And at this point, you know, Dollar Bill’s son has now ended up in the hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest or stomach or whatever it is. And now Bill has entered the chat, so to speak.”

Clifton notes that it’s long overdue for Bill to be in the storyline and at this point, it’s just impossible for him not to.

“That is something that fans have been waiting for for a long time,” the actor adds. “Everybody’s been going, ‘Okay, when is Bill gonna find out about this? And I think it’s reasonable to say that if Liam has any chance of surviving this, you can’t not see Bill come into play in the very next shot.”

Bill is Filled With Regrets

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers also reveal that Bill races to the hospital after learning Liam has been shot, unaware that his son is facing a far more serious battle ahead.

In the preview, Bill expresses deep regret for unleashing Luna on everyone, including Liam. But he’ll likely be more remorseful when he finds out that his son has a growing tumor in his brain and is dying.
