It was an explosive second season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” and now fans of the show have even more to be excited about, as the first-ever reunion show will be coming for this season full of drama.
When Is ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Reunion Available?
According to Hulu, the season 2 reunion special will feature never-before-seen footage and a catch-up with most of the ladies from the latest season. Fans can get even more excited about the reunion special, as Hulu said the special will feature a “surprise announcement.”
The season 2 reunion special will be 100 minutes long and will be available to stream on Hulu starting at midnight ET / 9 p.m. PT on July 1, 2025.
For the “SLOMW” season 2 reunion special, it will be hosted by Nick Viall, who has had many of the cast on his “Viall Files” podcast. The Bachelor Nation alum took to Instagram earlier this month to announce his role, saying: “This July will definitely have fireworks!!”
Who Was In Attendance for ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Reunion?
As mentioned above, most of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” cast was in attendance for the season 2 reunion special. However, #MomTok will see that one cast member is noticeably absent.
For the reunion special, Jen Affleck, Taylor Frankie Paul, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Miranda McWhorter, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura, and Layla Taylor were all present for the recording.
Missing from the couch was Demi Engemann, who previously said that filming for the reunion special was on “short notice.” Because of that, it conflicted with a trip she had already planned to Disneyland with her family.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories that she tried to get production to move the taping to another day, but they couldn’t swing it, sadly.
Will There Be More Seasons of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?’
Season 2 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” was filled with a ton of drama and confusion, but also seemed to leave fans of the show on a cliffhanger. Hulu originally ordered 20 episodes after the success of the first season, but fans of the show only got 10 episodes for season 2.
That has left fans wondering what’s next for the show. Will there be a season 3? Or will it split season 2 into two parts, with the remaining 10 episodes to air later?
Good news is coming, as The Hollywood Reporter stated that production is underway for those remaining 10 episodes of the 20-episode renewal by Hulu in October 2024. Episode 10 of season 2 did end with a “To be continued” message on the screen, so many think the season will be split into two parts.
Based on that news, we could expect the “surprise announcement” at the reunion special to be something related to new episodes coming to Hulu.
