Pearl Opened the Show
Pearl was the first to perform on the finale, before she was revealed to be … Gretchen Wilson.
Judge Robin Thicke called it as his final guess.
When Pearl gave some of her final clues on the finale, she said that she is “unapologetic” and that it’s stood in the way of her success over the years.
For Pearl’s kickoff performance, she sang “Black Horse and a Cherry Tree.”
Judge Ken Jeong called Pearl the “Meryl Streep of ‘The Masked Singer.'”
On the finale, host Nick Cannon played a sweet voice message from Pearl’s daughter. It was a touching moment as her daughter gushed about how proud she was of her mother.
Halfway through the finale episode, two out of the four finalists were unmasked. Pearl and Boogie Woogie were the two finalists left after that.
For Pearl’s second performance of the night, she executed “I’ll Stand by You.” The performance brought tears to judge Ken Jeong’s eyes.
