TikTok star and former Love Island USA contestant, Kyra Green, danced it out with her younger brother, Riley Green, to celebrate his return home from the hospital after what she called “the scariest week” of her life.
The older Green, 27, appeared on the popular dating show in 2019 and was eliminated from the island on day 24. She is also known for her modeling and TikTok popularity which exploded in August 2022 when a viral video of her then 55-year-old father sewing tracks into her hair gained over 30 million views and almost 4 million likes.
Green broke the news that her brother Riley Green, a musician also known by his stage name Rosebud, was happy and healthy at home by dancing in the grocery aisle to a snippet of Willow Smith’s 2011 hit “Whip My Hair.”
Kyra captioned the post, “When you just had the scariest week of your life…but your brother just got home from the hospital and you can spend family Sunday together.”
The reality star later explained in her next TikTok post, “My brother unexpectedly had to go to the hospital this past week. It was a terrifying week; it was just so many emotions. But everyone stayed super strong.
While Green didn’t divulge what exactly led to her brother’s hospital trip, she did share heartwarming footage of Riley walking in the door and being greeted with warm embraces by his sister, parents, and pups.
Riley Green later took to his own Instagram page to update his followers on his health scare. He showed himself going for a brain scan after having suffered three seizures in 24 hours.
Green’s loving parents left a supportive comment for their son via their joint account, writing “We love you so very much baby” and capped off the message with praying hands and a heart.
Kyra Green and Brother Riley Share California Crib With Their Life Coach Parents, Sherri & Derek
The social media starlet and Riley “Rosebud” Green have shared a picturesque California home with their parents, life coaching duo Sherri and Derek, since June 2022 when Green announced the siblings and their parents had all jointly purchased the house.
She shared a “moment of gratitude” with her followers in a TikTok when she announced the close-knit family’s moving plans. While munching a vegan burrito, Green said she was thrilled the four influencers would all be moving in together.
Kyra Green Is Not The Only TikTok Talent In Her Family
Although Kyra Green has the highest TikTok follower count in her family at over 700k, her family members are not far behind. Sister Tori Green’s account boasts almost 250k followers, with whom the Bodhi Align founder shares wellness content, couple dances, and lots of mommy posts featuring her 9-month-old baby Isola.
The baby of the family, Riley “Rosebud” Green, has over 100k followers, and the trio’s parents, Sheri and Derek, have amassed over 350k.
All the family members frequently appear in each other’s videos, where a recurrent theme is the adult children’s close bond with their parents.
Along with the hairstyling video, Derek Green went viral for a 2022 dance clip with his wife to the Wednesday Addams dance popularized by Jenna Ortega on the Netflix hit “Wednesday.” The video received 7 million views.
