Kylie Jenner Shares Her Post-Met Gala Foot Drama

If you go to a big, fancy event like the Met Gala, you want everything to be perfect. You can imagine how it will all fit together, from the shoes to the purse, the makeup to the hair. Sometimes, the best shoes for the dress are the ones you don’t typically wear.

For Kylie Jenner, that shoe is a stiletto. She often wears the style to the yearly fundraiser, so she’s clearly not opposed to them. But this year, she had a painful mishap when she decided to use tape to keep them on her feet.

She Had a Hilarious Reason Why She’s Stuck in Her Met Gala Heels

Kylie Jenner went to the 2025 Met Gala dressed in head-to-toe Ferragamo, including her black, pointed-toe stiletto heels. Unfortunately, she was unable to remove them after the Gala because they were literally stuck to her feet. When asked if her feet hurt, she explained what happened.

“Max told me to tape my feet into the shoe,” Jenner said in her Instagram Story, referring to Maximilian Davis, Ferragamo’s creative director. “And now my feet are stuck in the shoes!”

The video shows the hands of her glam squad spraying a liquid all over her feet in an attempt to pry the shoes off. Jenner was recording the process, and at one point, yelled out in pain, “Ow!”

Later, Jenner posted a photo of her bare feet, finally free of the shoes. “They’re okay!!!!!” she captioned the photo, relieved to be able to wiggle her toes again.

Despite the shoe setback, the rest of Jenner’s outfit seemed to go smoothly, exuding old Hollywood glamour. She wore a custom-made Ferragamo herringbone halter neck gown with a sweetheart neckline. Below her sheer black bodice was a low-cut skirt made out of the same herringbone pattern and a thigh-high slit. The dress also featured black-and-white beading on the bustier and skirt.

While she began the night with a long, black stole modestly wrapped around her chest and arms, it soon disappeared. She also wore long, black opera gloves and diamond earrings.

While sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner attended the event as well, Jenner’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, was noticeably absent. Instead, Chalamet posted photos on his Instagram Stories showing how he and his friends were at home watching the New York Knicks play the Boston Celtics on a tablet.

Chalamet hasn’t attended the Met Gala since 2021, and it’s not surprising that the avid Knicks fan would opt to watch his team in game one of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, instead. Luckily, the Knicks won in overtime, a nail-bitingly close 108-105.
