Did Cheeny Win ‘Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing’ Season 3?

Discovery Channel’s “Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing” Season 3 has come to an end, but who won the $100,000 cash prize and proved their survival skills?

Ahead of the final episode on Sunday, July 13, the final three had been announced as Matt Wright, Cheeny Plante, and Darrin Reay. The impressive lineup had fans excited about the final, and many people were rooting for one person in particular: Cheeny!

What Have Fans Said About Cheeny Winning Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing?

Fans have expressed their desires for Cheeny to win ahead of the final. The reasons? She stayed when the other women exited the show. She has demonstrated tremendous mental strength and resilience throughout the competition, persevering in the Australian Outback. And she would have become the first woman to win Last One Standing, which is an impressive achievement.

In an Instagram post shared on the “Naked & Afraid” Instagram account on July 12, which showed off Cheeny’s skills and highlighted that she was in the final three, fans reacted. “Cheeny in the FINAL THREE,” the caption reads. “Can she be the first woman to win it all? Don’t miss the season finale of #NakedAndAfraid: Last One Standing Sunday at 8 p (p.m.) on Discovery.”

Fans flooded the comment section of the post, praising Cheeny. “I love the final three. I’m happy for any of these people. They all earned their spots,” a comment reads. “You’ve been my number 1 from go,” another shared.

Other reactions include, “She’s awesome,” “Cheeny Gooo!!,” “Let’s go. Last woman standing,” and “get it girl.” But did Cheeny end up winning?

Who Won Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing Season 3?

But did Cheeny win? The winner for this season was Darrin Reay! He beat out 13 other contestants to take the win, putting his bushcraft skills to the test and outlasting the competition. In addition to Matt and Cheeny, they were: Laura Zerra, Jermaine Jackson, Max Djenohan, Ky Furneaux, Suzänne Zeta, Trish Bulinsky, Kaila Cumings, Trent Nielsen, Jamie Frizzell, Kaiela Hobart, and Patrick French.

Surviving in the Australian Outback was particularly challenging due to the extreme weather conditions and the danger posed by local wildlife. The season’s synopsis states that conditions include “deadly threats and game-changing opportunities — from the highly lethal taipan snake, whose bite has enough venom to take down 100 humans, to 250-pound wild boars that could provide an ample food source to skilled hunters,” People reports.

This season has been nail-biting, and it was challenging to predict the winner. Going into the final, Matt had the highest PSR rankings (out of a perfect 10.0 Primitive Survival Rating) with 9.7, Darrin with 9.6, and Cheeny with 9.0. Althogh Cheeny didn’t win, she did win over a lot of fans who were impressed with the game she played.
