“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Teddi Mellencamp is showing off a gift from “Southern Charm” star Shep Rose.
On April 8, Mellencamp took to Instagram to share that Rose, who is her childhood friend, sent her a Megalodon tooth necklace.
While recording a video of her wearing her necklace, Mellencamp shared she appreciated the gift.
“I’m very pleased with you, Shep. I’m adding this to my rotation of things that I wear,” said Mellencamp in her video.
In the caption of the post, Mellencamp referenced that Rose gifted his ex-girlfriends, Taylor Ann Green and Sienna Evans, shark tooth necklaces.
“Does this Megalodon tooth make me look like I’m dating @relationshep or trying to get on Southern Charm?” wrote Mellencamp.
Shep Rose Spent Time With Teddi Mellencamp Following Her Brain Surgery
Rose traveled to California to spend time with Mellencamp following her emergency brain surgery in February 2025. Mellencamp is currently battling stage 4 cancer and has several tumors in her brain and lungs.
On March 17, Rose shared a picture that showed him embracing a smiling Mellencamp with his Instagram followers.
“In case you all didn’t know my hometown friend @teddimellencamp recently had several tumors removed from her brain 🧠. There’s still lots to battle but we decided to meet up if she was up for it. We met in Encino, a magical village in the valley,” wrote Rose in the post’s caption.
Rose then shared that he and Mellencamp have a playful dynamic.
“As soon as i saw teddi and gave her a hug we argued about where to sit. She then rather bluntly announced ‘i almost died and i still might – make a decision for once Shepard,'” continued Rose in the caption. “We then proceeded to just laugh. We love dark humor and Teddi is the queen of it. So we ordered a loaf of bread (with oil and balsamic vinaigrette for dipping) and chicken parm pasta. More laughs than anything. She has a keen interest and derives much pleasure in my misadventures. Which i think means that she loves me. 😊 🥰”
Mellencamp responded to Rose’s post in the comments section by joking about his shark tooth necklaces.
“Thankfully we were never romantically involved. I don’t think I could pull off a shark tooth necklace,” wrote Mellencamp.
Teddi Mellencamp Said She Texted Shep Rose About His Relationship With Sienna Evans While She Was in the Hospital
During a March 2025 episode of her podcast, “Two Ts In A Pod,” co-hosted by Tamra Judge, Mellencamp said she texted Rose about his romance with Evans while she was recovering in the hospital following her brain surgery. According to Mellencamp, she questioned him about his choices regarding Evans during the production of “Southern Charm” season 10.
“Even from the hospital, I had to text Shep. I was like, ‘What are you doing? This is embarrassing,'” said Mellencamp on her podcast.
