Katie Ginella is back for her second season on “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” As fans know, she butted heads with Heather Dubrow last year, but it seems her issues have extended to other ladies on the show, including Shannon Beador. Now, a new preview shows Ginella disappearing from the group after an intense argument.
In the preview for episode six of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” season 19, Ginella is first seen in a car, talking on the phone about her drama with Beador. She said, “So, I just had it out with Shannon.”
Ginella continued, “We were supposed to go eat at Cafe Du Monde, and Shannon walked in and she goes, ‘I’m not going if she’s going.’ So, I said, ‘Fine, then you guys go. I’m not going to go.’ So, I’m in a car. I’m headed to meet the other group of girls.”
From there, Ginella discusses how Beador had previously been with Alexis Bellino, the new fiancée of her ex, John Jannson. She went on to imply that the double standard is strange. Later, Ginella sits down with Jennifer Pedranti, Gina Kirschenheiter, Gretchen Rossi, and Dubrow after leaving the other group of ladies.
Ginella Opens up About ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ Season 19
Ginella recently spoke to Decider about season 19 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” as well as her drama with Beador. Regarding their issues, they all stemmed from the second season housewife having recorded her co-star.
Regarding the recording, she told the outlet, “First, let me say it’s not a video. It’s a voice memo. We were all having our gallery shoot right after we got back from London, and Shannon and I were not friends. She actually really disliked me because I was friends with Alexis. We were in a shared space. It was Jenn, me and Shannon’s teams. We’re getting our hair and makeup done.”
She continued, “Shannon showed up a few hours late–two or three hours late–and was talking with production on a speakerphone, yelling and screaming, and disrupted the entire room. I was on a Zoom call. My husband was on the Zoom call because he is a part of my business with investors and other business partners.”
Ginella went on, “I abruptly hung up because it was so loud, even in my earbuds, that I couldn’t hear. My husband texted me like, ‘What’s going on?’ And I said, ‘This is what’s going on.’ And I voice-noted him what was happening. I’ve tried to move on from it. I’ve tried to apologize. I have accepted that I did it and that it was wrong. And she just can’t hear me.”
She Confirmed Who Heard the Audio
Ginella appeared on the July 31 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.” While on the Bravo talk show, she discussed the recording of Beador. When asked who else had heard it, she stated that her husband was the only person. She also confirmed for sure that Bellino did not hear it.
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” airs on Thursday nights on Bravo.
