Monica Garcia defended the age gap between her and her boyfriend, Braxton Knight.
On Aug. 20, the former “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star posted a video to Instagram as she posed with Minnie Mouse ears while her man wore a Mickey Mouse t-shirt. Garcia captioned her video with a list of several celebrities who have age gaps with their partners.
“Eva Mendes, 51, and Ryan Gosling, 44,” she wrote. “Kris Jenner, 69, and Corey Gamble, 44; Heidi Klum, 52, and Tom Kaulitz 35; Sarah Paulson, 50, and Holland Taylor, 82. Just name a few…” she added.
Of her relationship with Knight, Garcia wrote, “He’s 10yrs younger than me and I bet we’re happier than most of you …in your close age relationships. … We GOOD over here. Some of y’all really need a churro and Jesus and it shows!! #loveoneanother.”
Fans reacted in the comments section to show Garcia support.
“Mine is 12 years younger and we’ve been together almost 17 years! I’m happy for you! You deserve all the good things!” one fan wrote.
“Y’all are so cute together ❤️. Love that you are so happy and being loved like you deserve,” another told the RHOSLC alum.

Monica Garcia Previously Joked About the Age Gap
Garcia’s post came about a week after she jokingly compared her boyfriend to the boyfriend of her eldest daughter, Bri.
On Aug. 12, Garcia posted a video of the two men horsing around during a night out. “When your boyfriend and your daughter’s boyfriend are the same age,” she captioned the clip.
The post received some criticism from followers questioning the age of Garcia’s beau.
In her new post, she issued a clarification to critics: “Also, my daughter is 20 and her boyfriend is 23,” she wrote, making it clear that her 30-something man is significantly older than her daughter’s boyfriend.

BravoGarcia shares a child with Knight, born in April 2025. In addition to Bri, she shares daughters Jaidyn, West, and Kendall with her ex-husband Mike Fowler.
During her lone season on RHOSLC, Garcia was single. But in a 2024 appearance on “The Viall Files,” Garcia revealed that she had been dating a 29-year-old property manager named Braxton for about a year.
“I’ve been dating him for a year, and no one even knows who he is…” she said. “We actually met during filming. I met him filming [RHOSLC],” she added. “He works in Utah at Wasatch Excursions. He, like, manages that property. And that is where Heather [Gay] and I shot our snowmobiling scene.”
