“The Real Housewives of New York City” cast members have been known to share men, with multiple RHONY ladies claiming to have dated Luann de Lesseps‘ ex-husband Tom D’Agostino, and even more of the ladies having been spotted out and about with Harry Dubin in the past.
Now, former RHONY star Kelly Bensimon has dropped the news that she had previously matched on the celebrity dating app Raya and texted with her former co-star Bethenny Frankel’s new boyfriend Tom Villante.
“Isn’t that hilarious? This guy’s a Housewives fanatic. He’s basically a fame whore,” Bensimon told Us Weekly on Friday, December 6, at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles. “Only if you’re famous does he want to go out with you. Go forth and prosper, but not on my watch.”
Bensimon first revealed her connection to Villante days prior in a December 2024 interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. There, Bensimon shared that she had texted with Villante, who had asked her to meet up but wasn’t able to connect in person, until being surprised by a Page Six headline from September 2024 confirming that he had been spotted out on dates with Frankel.
Bethenny Frankel Has Gone Public With Her Relationship
Although Frankel and Villante have been spotted out and about since at least September 2024, Frankel took some more time to make their relationship Instagram official. Weeks after attending the “Yellowstone” premiere together in New York City in November 2024, Frankel including Villante in November 23 Instagram post.
“POV: he buys you a luxury heated throw & builds a fire while you sip an overpriced latte…” Frankel wrote on her video post that depicted the scene described. She added why Villante was doing these things for her in the post’s caption, where she wrote, “Because #imworthit #andmyman #thankyoutomyman.”
Kelly Bensimon Joins the ‘I Do, Part 2’ Podcast
While she may not be continuing things with Villante, Bensimon has not given up on love since ending her engagement with Scott Litner earlier this year. In fact, Bensimon introduced fans to her new iHeartRadio podcast, “I Do, Part 2”, in a September 2024 post.
“WELCOME TO I DO : PART2. It’s time to Fall in love with yourself and let us mentor you into that next chapter. Who’s ready for LOVE? I’m so excited to [work on] this empowering podcast,” Bensimon wrote in her caption.
According to the show’s official description, Bensimon is an “I Do, Part 2” Expert, joining hosts Jennie Garth, Jana Kramer, Amy Robach, and T.J. Holmes to give love advice and share personal stories with fans who call into the show.
