TV Star Teases She ‘May’ Have Been Approached to Join RHOBH

Fans of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” could see a new face—or two— for season 15.

While the 14^th season of the Bravo reality show is in full swing, casting agents have reportedly put out some feelers for future seasons.

During a February 2025 appearance on the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast, actress Ana Ortiz teased that she “may” have heard from Bravo about a possible role on the Beverly Hills-based show.

“I’m not gonna lie, there was a moment where I may have gotten an email from my agent where they may have been asking if I was interested in doing Beverly Hills,” the “Ugly Betty” and “Devious Maids” alum told Yontef. “Which A, I don’t live in Beverly Hills, and B, [my best friend] Mark [Indelicato] was like, ‘Girl, if you do that then I can be a friend of.’ And I was like, I would like to be a friend of. I just don’t think I can be a regular cast member, but would I be a friend of? Yeah, I would. “

Ortiz further explained, “I’d have to be a friend of, although I think with as much mess as I talk about them, none of them are going to want to be my friend. You gotta have a thick skin.”

Ortiz, 53, wouldn’t be the first actress to join RHOBH. Over its first 14 seasons, actresses Kim Richards, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson, Garcelle Beauvais, and Denise Richards have all been cast members on the show.

Rebel Wilson’s Wife Ramona Agruma Was Reportedly Asked to Join RHOBH

Ortiz isn’t the only star RHOBH producers may have been feeling out. In a January 2025 interview on the “Kyle and Jackie O Show” podcast, Rebel Wilson shared that her wife, designer Ramona Agruma, was also approached.

“Here’s some hot gossip,” Wilson said on the podcast. “Ramona just got asked to be a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills. Ramona would be great because she really tells it how it is. She doesn’t give a crap about whatever anybody says to her,” the Australian actress said.

Wilson noted that Agruma was recommended for the show by Kathy Hilton. “We’re loose friends with Kathy Hilton because we’re friends with Paris,” she explained.

But as of now, Agruma isn’t interested in holding a RHOBH diamond. “She’s not wanting to do it,” Wilson shared of the Lemon Limon founder. “I was like, ‘But babe, it could be fun.’ I love the show, I love reality [television].”

Kyle Richards Has Talked About Leaving RHOBH

The 14^th season of RHOBH stars Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and newcomer Bozoma Saint John. Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton are “friends of” the cast.

RHOBH producer Alex Baskin told Parade magazine that while the group is tight, there’s always room for change. “We always take a look around and if it makes sense to add to the group or to shake the group up, [then] great,” he said.

Richards has been on the show ever since its debut in 2010, and her departure would leave some big shoes to fill.

In a January 2025 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the veteran RHOBH star revealed that she makes her decision to return based on how the previous season went for her. “One day, that day will come where I’ll say, ’OK, enough,’” she admitted.

But she added, “I saw something that said, ‘If Kyle does another season, 15 seasons, she’ll be the longest-running Housewife in franchise history.’ There’s kind of a part of me that wants to have that! And then I’m like, ‘For what, Kyle?! For what?”
