All Bravo fans have their favorite ‘Real Housewives’ cities. For some, it may be “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but for others, it could be the Salt Lake City ladies. However, one part of the franchise that’s no longer in production is “The Real Housewives of DC.”
Admittedly, “The Real Housewives of DC” is the shortest-lived show of the franchise. It began in 2010, but Bravo had axed the series by the very next year. Still, those who were around for the series often wonder what happened to the cast. Some fans even clamor for a reboot of the series since so much time has passed.
Luckily, most of the ladies from “The Real Housewives of DC” are pretty active on social media. Although no longer on television, many of them have been open about their life changes over the years, including both the good and the bad.
The Cast of Real Housewives of DC Today
Mary Amons
One of the first names that comes to mind from the “Real Housewives of DC” cast is Mary Amons. Fans will recall that Mary and her then-husband Rich had five children. Sadly, they divorced in 2012 after 26 years of marriage. Still, she seems happy today and runs the Mary Amons Design company.
Lynda Erkiletian
Lynda was also a star of “The Real Housewives of DC.” While on the show, she was a divorced mother of four. However, according to the latest reports, she is currently in a relationship. According to her Instagram, she runs The Artist Agency modeling firm and serves as the executive director of the James and Paula Coburn Foundation. She also recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live.”
Cat Ommanney
Cat Ommanney may be one of the most remembered cast members from The Real Housewives of DC, thanks to her style of humor. Her marriage had ended before the show aired, but news emerged in 2012 that she had become a mother for the third time. Her Instagram states that she now lives in Spain.
Notably, she appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” in 2022 to discuss her fling with Prince Harry. He was 21 at the time, and she was 34.
Stacie Scott Turner
Stacie Scott Turner was also a main cast member on “The Real Housewives of DC.” Like some of the other ladies, her marriage to Jason Turner ended in 2012. They have two kids together and were married for 14 years. Nowadays, she works in real estate in Maryland. Sadly, she’s not very active on social media.
Michaele Salahi And Her Husband Could Be Blammed For the End of ‘The Real Housewives of DC”
The most controversial member of the “Real Housewives of DC” cast is, without a doubt, Michaele Salahi. Sadly, she and Tareq Salahi called it quits in 2011. Notably, this was the same year he filed a missing person’s report for Michaele after not hearing from her for a time. Turns out, she was on the road with Neal Schon, who is the lead guitarist for Journey. They married in 2013.
Why Did Bravo Cancel ‘The Real Housewives of DC?’
Bravo, like all networks, has canceled its fair share of shows. However, the demise of “RHODC” came for unprecedented reasons. According to US Weekly, the network made this call over Tareq and Michaele crashing then-President Barack Obama’s state dinner. People who watched the show are aware of the public scandal this was.
Andy Cohen said in 2018, “Frankly, I really wanted to bring DC back for season 2. When the FBI is asking for raw tapes of your show, [a] good thing to maybe not move forward?” The Salahis denied that they crashed the State Dinner and stated that they were invited.
Fans can stream “The Real Housewives of DC” on Peacock.
