Former RHOBH Star Makes Prediction About Season 15 Cast

Kathryn Edwards thinks the cast for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” could remain the same next season.

During a January 27 appearance on the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast, Edwards agreed with Yontef’s suggestion that producers could keep “every single person” for season 15 next year because “it’s all working” and there’s no reason to get rid of anybody.

“Not yet, yeah,” Edwards agreed.

Both Yontef and Edwards noted that it’s still early in the season and things could change.

Edwards was a cast member on the 6th season of RHOBH in 2015. The only other cast members still on the show from her season are Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne. But Edwards is still a fan of the show, and she noted that several longstanding cast members are still bringing it, while a newcomer adds a great “energy” to the cast.

On the podcast, Edwards and Yontef talked in detail about the current RHOBH cast, which also includes Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and newcomer Jennifer Tilly.

Edwards said Beauvais, in particular, knows what she’s doing on camera. “She’s smart enough to know that if she says something that’s so inflammatory and disgusting about someone, you can’t take it back. And, you know, it gets all over every reality blurb and, you know, social media outlet, and all of a sudden, you’re down in the dirt with the dogs,” she said.

“Sutton. I mean, I still like her. I do,” she added of Beauvais’ RHOBH bestie. “She knows how to carry herself and doesn’t need, she can still bring the excitement and bring everything to the show, but she doesn’t have to act a fool. That’s the difference. “

Edwards also had praise for Kemsley, who has stood out this season in multiple face-offs with Richards. “I mean, she’s been there,” Edwards said of the Beverly Beach founder. “For eight years or whatever it is. If she wasn’t, she wouldn’t have lasted that long. She’s brought the lifestyle. She’s brought, you know, and [her husband] PK has been great too. I mean, he’s been funny, you know? “

Edwards also said she loves the dynamic that Tilly brings as a “friend of” this season. “I like her, I like her energy,” she shared. “I like the way she just kind of, you know, yeah, I’ve always liked her, I think she’s great.”

Edwards also previously praised Jayne on the January 6, 2025, episode of “Behind the Velvet Rope.” “She’s brought it,” Edwards said of the “Chicago” star. “She’s given, she’s delivered every season. She’s been really a Housewife.  …She’s given the franchise what they want. And I think hats off to her for that.”

Edwards noted that while she wasn’t always Jayne’s “biggest fan,” she was happy to see a new side of her amid her ongoing divorce from former power lawyer Tom Girardi.

Kyle Richards Could Be the Real Wild Card for Season 15

Even if producers invite all of the current cast members back next season, it doesn’t mean they will accept.

Richards, who has been a main cast member for every season of RHOBH since its debut in 2010, told Entertainment Tonight she always struggles with the decision to return for another round. “Every year it’s like, should I? Should I? I remember years ago saying, after season 5, I’m not doing anymore. Here I am. Obviously, one day the time will come where I say enough is enough,” she said in 2024,

Filming for season 14 following her separation from her husband Mauricio Umansky has proven to be Richards’ biggest struggle yet. In a January 2025 interview  with The Hollywood Reporter, the veteran RHOBH star said season 14 was “the closest” she’s ever gotten to “not coming back to the show

“I always say I never know because it depends on my personal life emotionally — if I can handle it, what my lifestyle is at the time,” she said in the interview. “One day, that day will come where I’ll say, ’OK, enough.’”

She admitted she was intrigued by a season 15 return for a special reason. “I saw something that said, ‘If Kyle does another season, 15 seasons, she’ll be the longest-running Housewife in franchise history,’” the RHOBH OG said. “There’s kind of a part of me that wants to have that! And then I’m like, ‘For what, Kyle? For what?’” she added.
