After spending time living separately, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gina Kirschenheiter and her partner, Travis Mullen, are once again under one roof—and this time, they’ve got the space to make it work.
The couple recently moved into a new home, and in a video shared by Bravo, Gina gave fans a full tour of the “amazing” space designed to accommodate their blended family of eight.
Gina Shares Her Favorite Part of the House—and What Still “Kills” Her
In the exclusive video tour, Kirschenheiter revealed, “Honestly the biggest and most amazing thing about being in this new house is the space, because lord knows that we needed it,” Gina says in the video tour. With approximately 2,800 square feet, the house boasts five bedrooms and four bathrooms. “This is a lot of house,” she adds.
One of Gina’s favorite parts of the home is the expansive kitchen, which she describes as crucial for their busy lifestyle.
“With the six kids we’re always running around, having this really big kitchen really makes our life just so easy,” she shares while showing off the large island and gleaming countertops.
But it’s the pantry that really made an impression. “Honestly, one of my favorite things about the house, it seems so simple, but this is the first home that I have had a pantry,” she explains. “It’s a whole room for my snacks!”
Later in the tour, Gina walks viewers through the primary bedroom, revealing a space that she hoped would feel peaceful—though not everything goes according to plan. “A lot happens in our bedroom, I wanted it to be tranquil and beautiful and earthy,” she says.
Then, pointing to a cluttered desk, she adds: “Travis also works in our room. And it actually, it kills me every day, and I want the viewers of BravoTV.com to see this so that I can show it to him so that he feels shamed so that he cleans up his desk.”
Why They Lived Apart—& What Changed
Though the couple is now happily sharing their dream home, their living situation wasn’t always so smooth.
On Season 18 of “RHOC,” Gina revealed that the home they shared at the time wasn’t big enough for all six kids. She and her children—Nicholas, Luca, and Sienna—moved out, while Travis stayed with his three kids—Presley, Bennett, and Joseph.
“I do love my life, and I do love my family,” she said during the episode. “But there’s something here that’s just not functioning right because the children needed more space.”
Travis wasn’t happy with the move and felt the kids would have preferred to stay together. Still, the couple stayed strong while living apart.
In a 2024 interview with BravoTV.com, Gina explained, “It’s just what we have to do for now. I don’t want to live like this forever. Logistically, it’s a damn nightmare… but it just feels like the right thing to do until we can actually take the next step.”
That “next step” was finally taken after a trip to Bali, which helped Gina realize she had been avoiding living with Travis full-time due to lingering fears surrounding his divorce.
“I chose to live separately out of fear,” she explained in a clip from “RHOC” Season 19. Now, she says she’s let go of that fear and feels “free.”
