RHOBH Star Throws Baby Shower for 1st Granddaughter

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Garcelle Beauvais celebrated the soon-to-be arrival of her son Oliver Saunders and his girlfriend Shantei Paranada’s daughter. 

On November 12, Beauvais uploaded an Instagram post to share several pictures of her son and Paranada’s baby shower that she hosted at her RHOBH co-star and friend, Sutton Stracke‘s house.

“It’s the little things and the joy they bring! 💕 We celebrated this past weekend with family and friends. We are welcoming our little Valley Marie Claire Saunders into the world soon. She is already so loved!” wrote Beauvais in the post’s caption. 

She also thanked Stracke “for sharing [her] home” for the event. 

Saunders expressed gratitude for his mother in the post’s comment section. 

“I Love You So Much !! Thank You For An Unforgettable Weekend 💖💖💖💖,” wrote Saunders. 

Stracke also took to the comments section to express her excitement for Saunder and Paranada. 

“So excited for them! And for a baby girl we get to spoil!!!💗💗💗💗,” wrote Stracke. 

Saunders also shared images taken at the baby shower on his Instagram account. 

“Had The Most Unforgettable Weekend Surrounded By Love!!! Thank You Again @garcelle, @suttonstracke & @avi_gabay_ For The Most Amazing Baby Shower Ever!! Thank You 2 Everybody Who Came 2 Support Our Baby Girl Valley Marie Claire-Saunders!! She is So Loved Already We Are So Blessed & Grateful !” read the caption of the November 12 post. 

As fans of RHOBH are aware, Saunders has a son named Oliver Jr., 4, mothered by his estranged wife, Samantha Saunders.

Garcelle Beauvais Spoke About Her Younger Children in an October 2024 Interview

Beauvais spoke about her relationship with her younger children Jax Nilon, 17, and Jaid Nilon, 17, during an October 2024 interview with Extra. She noted that she and Jax had a “tough conversation” about his upbringing during RHOBH season 13. She stated, however, that their dynamic has since improved. 

“But had we not had that conversation, we wouldn’t be where we are today. And so, you know, I raised my kids to speak their truth. And you know, say how they feel because I didn’t grow up that way. So it’s important that we have open communication. And that was really – as hard as it was, it was really great for us,” said Beauvais. 

She also shared that Jaid has started “his modeling career” and has been “signed with LA models.”

While speaking to Extra, Beauvais teased some information about RHOBH season 14, which premiered on November 19. 

“A lot of the women are going through really big life changes. And of course, that affects, you know, how they deal with us and the group. But I think it’s going to be fun. It’s definitely dramatic. There’s lots of drama. Some friendships have shifted. It’s going to be really good. I’m really optimistic about this season,” said Beauvais to Extra.
