“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Denise Richards is showing her gratitude for her fans amid her divorce from Aaron Phypers. The actor and reality star took to Instagram on August 22 to post a video in which she thanked everyone for their support.
Phypers filed for divorce from Richards on July 7 after 6 years of marriage, and it has been contentious so far, to say the least.
Richards was in good spirits, however, as she joked about her summer being “wonderful.” “I’ve actually been posting on Instagram like nothing’s going on in my life and I can’t do that anymore,” she said.
“Many of you have been so kind and so supportive of me,” she continued, explaining that she hasn’t commented for fear that her words “would be taken out and be in the press.”
“This has been a very, very, very difficult time. It’s so hard to go through a divorce … I never thought I’d get divorced again, this is why I always say ‘never say never,'” Richards shared. Her first divorce from actor Charlie Sheen was finalized in 2006.
Richards Shared Another Personal Update
Richards went on to give some insight into a different personal issue she’s been dealing with. “Some of you may know, because it was put out there, that I was having reconstructive surgery,” she said, explaining that she had undergone several procedures.
“I didn’t want to post about it during all of this and look inappropriate and have it seem insensitive to what I’m dealing with,” the “Wild Things” actor explained.
“But, I also want to live my life and share that part of my life,” she continued. Richards hinted that she’d be giving fans another update in the future. “I do want to post about that,” she said.
Richards Is Getting Lots of Support From Her Bravo Family
The reality star concluded her video, “I just wanted to say thank you so much. It makes me want to cry seeing your messages … you guys are all helping me through it.”
But fans are not the only ones helping Richards through this hard time. Her Bravo family has her back as well, as evidenced by the comments on her post.
“RHOBH” cast mate Kyle Richards wrote, “This too shall pass,” and “RHOM” star Lisa Hochstein commented, “You look amazing and you’re doing great! You got this 👏”
“Ladies of London” alum and “The Real Housewives of Dubai” star Caroline Stanbury wrote, “❤️🔥 you’re doing great 👏” and “RHOSLC” star Meredith Marks chimed in with three red heart emojis.
