Delilah Belle Hamlin Gets Real About Being a Nepo Baby

While many children of celebrities shy away from the nepo baby label, Delilah Belle Hamlin fully admits having famous parents helped jumpstart her modeling career.

“Let’s be serious … it is going to be easier for someone to break into the industry if their parents are already in the industry,” Hamlin, the daughter of “RHOBH” alum Lisa Rinna and actor Harry Hamlin, explained on her parents’ podcast “Let’s Not Talk About the Husband.”

But she also explained that being the child of celebrity parents can be a double-edged sword. “Going into high fashion, you know, mom having her foot in the ‘Housewives’ franchise … I think that could possibly deter someone from possibly wanting to work with you,” the model shared. “That might not be an affiliation they want.”

Hamlin went on to say that the nepo baby stigma could affect the way peers in the industry feel about her. “I don’t necessarily know, but I’m thinking maybe the other models could be like, ‘well, that’s not fair,'” she said.

While Hamlin doesn’t deny that having famous parents can help with breaking into the entertainment world, she acknowledges that staying successful requires hard work. “You do have to be like, no, I want to be taken seriously,” she said. “Like, this is something I really want to do.”

And so far Hamlin has proved that she has what it takes to be taken seriously in the modeling world. She was signed to Elite Model Management in 2016, while she was still in high school, and strutted the runway for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana as a teen.

Hamlin took a break in 2018 to study psychology at NYU and entered rehab that same year to deal with mental health issues. “It was the best decision of my life,” Hamlin said of her rehab stint on a different episode of “Let’s Not Talk About the Husband,” and has since refocused her life and prioritized her well-being.

Now, at age 27, Hamlin’s career continues to thrive. On August 5, she posted a photo from a Vogue shoot on Instagram in which she appeared with her model sister Amelia Gray Hamlin. It’s clear Hamlin isn’t taking these professional strides for granted either.

“VOGUE WITH SISSY 😭,” she captioned the post, adding, “this feels surreal and I am so grateful to have met and been able to work with such iconic, creative, powerhouses in the industry on this one so THANK YOU to my new family ❤️❤️❤️”

It wasn’t the first time the Hamlin sisters posed together for a high-fashion shoot. In July the pair were featured on the cover of V magazine for the Fall Preview 2025 issue. It wasn’t something Hamlin took lightly. “I am feeling SO BEYOND GRATEFUL AND BLESSED,” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram post showing off the gorgeous cover.
