Andy Cohen and “RHONY” alum Carole Radziwill are opening up about how they squashed their years-long feud. “We really kind of came to a very positive place,” Cohen shared during an episode of his Sirius XM show “Andy Cohen Live.”
Fans were shocked and thrilled when Radziwill appeared as a surprise guest on the August 4 episode of “Watch What Happens Live” after she and Cohen had been on the outs for so long. The former pals even went in for a hug, and it was clear they’d mended fences. But fans also wondered how and when.
“She and I, as you know, had a big, kind of falling out,” Cohen explained on “Andy Cohen Live.” “She asked me to never speak to her again, and then we kind of went at each other, publicly, for years.” He went on to share that he and Radziwill eventually worked it out via text messages.
Carole Radziwill Shared More Details
Radziwill, who left “RHONY” in 2018, grabbed a clip from Cohen’s radio broadcast and posted it to her Instagram story, along with some more in-depth details.
“True story … we hadn’t spoken or even bumped into each other in nearly 7 years!” she wrote in the story. “After another public argument, we quietly settled our differences over text messages,” she explained.
Radziwill seemed to chalk up she and Cohen’s making up to fate, adding, “Then, one week later, we bumped into each other at The Polo Bar! The universe had said, enough!”
Cohen & Radziwill Were Happy to Reunite
After Radziwill dropped by the “WWHL” Clubhouse, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the experience. She expressed how much fun she had with guests Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang of the “Las Culturistas” podcast, and gave Cohen a shout-out as well.
“Of course @bravoandy was incredible and fun and gracious with a smile ear to ear. Even though I’m famously NOT A HUGGER the hug was the best part,” she captioned a clip from the show.
And Cohen was equally happy to have Radziwill back, even just for the evening. “It was a nice kind of, ‘Welcome back to the Clubhouse. Welcome back to the Bravo-verse,'” he said on “Andy Cohen Live.”
Hopefully fans were satisfied with seeing Radziwill on “WWHL,” because it seems as though she has ruled out returning to the Bravo-verse in any other capacity. “That’s all folks … no other reunions or appearances but this one was worth all my nervousness & butterflies 💋,” she wrote in her Instagram caption.
