What Legend Hulk Hogan’s Funeral Program Stated: READ

Hulk Hogan’s funeral was held on Tuesday, August 5. He died on July 24 from a sudden cardiac arrest while at home in Clearwater, Florida. He was 71.

What Did Hulk Hogan’s Funeral Program Say?

Mourners paid their respects and celebrated the life of Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, when they gathered at Indian Rocks Church in Largo, Florida. This is the same church where he was baptized in 2023, FOX News reports. Among the attendees were Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Stephanie McMahon, Dennis Rodman, Kid Rock, and Bam Margera.

It was Hogan’s family who sat in the front row, and Us Weekly reports that Hulk’s ex-wife, Linda Hogan, was in attendance. She was joined by her son, Nick Hogan, and the WWE wrestler’s third and current wife, Sky Daily. Hulk’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, was noticeably absent from his funeral. However, an insider said that nothing was said about her absence, Us Weekly reports.

So what was said about Hulk? Us Weekly obtained his funeral program, and it gives a better glimpse into the day. “As a devoted family man, Terry cherished time with his loved ones,” the program read, Us Weekly reports. “He was a proud father of Brooke and Nick, a stepfather to Maddox, Hayden, and Leighton, and embraced his role as a loving husband to Sky.”

It continued, “Your spirit will forever be part of the wrestling world, and your legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of fans around the world.”

The program also featured photos of Hulk and his loved ones.

Who Attended Hulk Hogan’s Funeral & Reception?

Between 800 and 1000 guests attended the funeral. Nick gave a speech in honor of his dad, “calling Hogan a great dad and his hero,” Us Weekly reports.

Following the funeral service, attendees made their way to Hogan’s Hangout, a restaurant in Clearwater that Hogan owned, FOX News reports. Sky and Nick were both there. The reception was also attended by other close family members, who celebrated Hulk’s life while “memorial videos and montages played,” Us Weekly reports.

Brooke Hogan Pays Her Respects

Brooke may not have been present at the funeral, but she did honour her father in her way. In an Instagram post on August 6, she shared how and why she chose to pay her respects to her father separately.

“My father hated the morbidity of funerals. He didn’t want one,” she wrote. “And although I know people grieve in many ways – and I’m so grateful for all celebrations and events organized to honor him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how…privately…the way that made me feel the closest to him. The only thing missing today was him in is pop up lawn chair watching the waves… and the sunset.”

She continued, “Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved. Molly loved the water. I think she’ll be a ‘little fish’ as you called me. We love you and honor the things that made you so special. Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you. I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you.”
