WATCH: ‘San Andreas’ 1st Official Trailer Featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

First off, this must be said – we’ve never heard a more eerier rendition of California Dreamin’ before. Ever.

Now on to the synopsis for Warner Bros. upcoming disaster epic, San Andreas. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson plays the role of a rescue helicopter pilot. Things get way out of hand when a magnitude 9 level earthquake rocks the San Francisco and Los Angeles area. Dwayne goes searching for his daughter alongside his wife (played by Carla Gugino) as they brave the harsh elements of such epic destruction. Fans of The Day After Tomorrow and Twister have a lot to look forward to here with this new movie.

San Andreas will tear down movie theaters across the nation come May 29, 2015.
