Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ Latest Venture Gets a Major Update

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are trading their cleats for steak knives with their upcoming restaurant, 1587 Prime. The new steakhouse, located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel, just received a major construction and hiring update — and fans are hungry for more.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ superstars are working on the new eatery with Miami-based hospitality group Noble 33. The restaurant spans nearly 10,000 square feet across two floors, offering an upscale yet accessible experience for both locals and visitors. With private dining spaces, football-themed decor, and one of the largest wine selections in Missouri, 1587 Prime is shaping up to be more than just a place to spot K.C.’s biggest names—or (fingers crossed) Taylor Swift.

The First Look Inside 1587 Prime

Fans got their first glimpse at the aesthetics and construction of 1587 Prime via the Kelce Brothers Instagram account. The post featured sleek branding stamped on gold footballs, a sweeping staircase in progress, and a first-floor space being prepped for a central bar setup.

Entrepreneur Mikey Tanha — co-founder of Noble 33 — also shared behind-the-scenes footage, including construction workers shaping the interior and the exterior site wrapped in fencing for privacy. Large sun-filled windows give the space a modern, inviting vibe.

“First look at Travis Kelce & Patrick Mahomes’ new steakhouse, 1587 Prime — opening soon inside the Loews Hotel!” the caption teased.

At a recent 101 Awards press event, Mahomes shared the motivation behind the restaurant: “We’re always at these restaurants, and we have a love for bringing people together,” he said. “What better place than Kansas City?”

Mahomes also made it clear that 1587 Prime won’t be prohibitively expensive. “We don’t want to make it too upscale, too high-priced that not everybody can go.”

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes Are Hiring!

With opening day on the horizon, 1587 Prime is actively hiring key roles. Job listings posted by Noble 33 reveal openings for executive chef, operations manager, and bar manager.

  • Executive Chef: Requires at least seven years of experience, with a $90K–$110K salary. Responsibilities include menu creation, seasonal specials, food quality, and guest interaction.
  • Operations Manager: Offers $55K–$90K and demands 3–5 years of upscale restaurant management. The role involves hiring, training, and elevating the guest experience in a dynamic space.
  • Bar Manager: Pays $70K–$80K and calls for in-depth knowledge of wine, cocktails, and spirits. The role oversees bar inventory, costs, and a top-tier beverage program.

Applicants can apply through Noble 33’s official job portal and be part of a fast-paced, high-profile launch.

1587 Prime is more than a vanity venture — it’s a heartfelt offering from Kelce and Mahomes to their Kansas City community. “Me and Travis have been working on that for awhile. We’re always together. We’re always at these restaurants, and we have a love for bringing people together,” he said in a video shared by Fox 4 Kansas City. “So we’re going to do whatever we can to continue to bring people together and what better place than Kansas City.”
