Tiffany Haddish Finally Addresses Her Viral Baby Photo

“Girls Trip” star Tiffany Haddish broke the internet in August when she posted a photo of herself and Jason Lee with a baby. Many believed this meant she and her friend had decided to become parents. Now, on a recent “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” appearance, Haddish and Lee responded to the claims. 

According to US Weekly, Haddish, who is filling in for Kimmel, said, “There is a personal matter I feel must be addressed. It made everyone go a little crazy. For some reason, people saw this and thought I had a baby. Even my own relatives were asking.”

She then said, “The whole world has lost its mind over this beautiful baby. I went ahead and made it our God baby.” Haddish the looked at Lee, who was in the audience, and said, “Jason, the offer is still on the table if you want to make a real baby.”

Lee responded, “And I’m still gay.” Ultimately, Haddish confirmed, “I did not have a baby, but I am open to it. Wide open to it.”

Haddish posted the now viral photos of herself holding a baby with Lee next to her on August 3. Notably, the post contained three images, one of which showed Lee with his hands on a stroller. She captioned the post, “Cats out of the bag,’ alluding to the photo serving as an announcement. 

Naturally, this led to several comments on the post from confused fans. One person said, “Someone go get the cat, I got questions.” Another replied, “What does this mean?” to which Lee commented two baby bottle emojis. Additionally, there were numerous social media posts speculating about the baby, with most assuming Haddish and Lee posted the pictures as a joke. Still, some believed they had a child together. 

Haddish Has New Movies Coming Soon

Haddish had been keeping a relatively low profile before August. However, she was still busy during that time with either filming upcoming movies or seemingly taking meetings. According to Deadline, one of her forthcoming roles is in a film called “The Deputy.”

She will star alongside the likes of William H. Macy, Duke Nicholson, Julia Fox, Stephen Dorff, and more. The film is categorized as an action-thriller. She’s also in a new movie called “Haunted Heist,” which is expected to be released in September 2025. It also stars Brett Gelman and Lil Rel Howery.
