Some fans think Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce might have just given a subtle hint that a wedding to pop star Taylor Swift could become a reality.

Of course, fans of Swift are always hunting for Easter eggs in her outfits and comments, so it’s no surprise they’ve translated that tendency to Kelce.

According to Page Six, Kelce’s T-shirt “set eagle-eyed fans into overdrive.” That’s because his T-shirt “featured a large wedding cake print,” Page Six reported, although some people dispute that the cake had anything to do with matrimony.

According to Page Six, Kelce donned the cake shirt for an Amazon Upfronts 2025 red carpet appearance alongside his brother, Jason Kelce.

Swift was not on the red carpet with him, as the pair has been keeping a lower profile since Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl loss.

The possible wedding cake shirt is by the brand Marni, Page Six reported.

According to Cosmopolitan, some fans are convinced that the shirt is a sign that Swift and Kelce are engaged, but there is no confirmation of that.

The couple has been dating since September 2023, according to TODAY. That site reported that the relationship started with a “friendship bracelet” that Kelce gifted the pop superstar. Since that time, they have been photographed together out on the town, and Swift has turned up at numerous Chiefs games, including the Super Bowl. The duration of the relationship has many fans eager for a next step to materialize, such as a wedding.

Fans weighed in on social media, with some of them quickly spotting the wedding cake image on the shirt.

“Is that a wedding cake on Travis Kelce’s shirt? Travy and Taylor need to stop playing us,” one fan wrote on X of the white shirt with blue design that Kelce wore under a gray suit jacket.

However, another fan disputed that it was a cake. “No. It’s the Marni logo. They’ve used the cake on other shirts. Another shirt has the same cake but with 30 on it for their 30th anniversary. Sometimes a cake is just a cake,” that person wrote, sharing another photo.
