‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Couple Marriage Confirmed

Weeks before “Love Is Blind” fans find out which season 8 couples actually say, “I do,” the fate of one couple has been revealed thanks to court documents.

HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD!

This ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Couple Are Really Married

Taylor Haag and Daniel Hastings made it down the aisle last March, according to Minnesota’s Hennepin County, TMZ first reported.

The news comes after the shocking cliffhanger in the final episode of the first batch of season 8, which dropped on Netflix on Valentine’s Day.

In the final moments of the episode, Haag confronted Hastings about her “overwhelming” suspicion that he had followed her on Instagram prior to filming.

In episode 4, while they were still in the pods, Haag asked Hastings if he had ever followed her on Instagram during the pair’s fourth date, which he denied.

“I can’t imagine that I do,” he said. “I have a weird memory when it comes to Instagram handles. And I can see the person’s profile picture in my head…I would recognize your Instagram handle, but I don’t.”

But her suspicions did not end there. “I have this overwhelming feeling that when the doors opened last night, that was not the first time that he saw me,” Haag told the camera in episode 6. “All of the things we talked about are all on my Instagram… Taco Bell, registered nurse, family, faith.”

This would undermine the show’s concept of couples blindly falling in love. Hastings denied that he had ever followed her twice, but she was still seemingly uneasy at the end of the episode.

A spokesperson for “Love Is Blind” confirmed to the news outlet that production ensures that contestants do not follow each other on social media during the casting process.

Taylor Haag and Daniel Hastings Fell In Love Without Ever Seeing Each Other

Before his time on “Love Is Blind,” 30-year-old sales account executive Hastings was a Gerber baby model. Heading into the blind pods, he was very open about his height, 5’8″, which had often played a role in his dating experiences.

Haag, a 32-year-old colonoscopy nurse, and Hastings bonded over their love of Christmas, mutual family values, and the aforementioned Taco Bell.

Haag and Hastings were joined at the Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort and Spa in Honduras by the other couples who got engaged: Ben Mezzenga and Sara Carton, Joey Leveille and Monica Danús, Devin Buckley and Virginia Miller, and David Bettenburg and Lauren O’Brien.

Season 8 is set in Minnesota and was filmed in March 2024.

The first six episodes of “Love Is Blind” are streaming on Netflix. Episodes 7-9 will be available on February 21, and episodes 10-11 will debut on February 28.
