Hallmark’s ‘Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story’ Gets NFL Star’s Stamp of Approval

Hallmark is planning another holiday movie with a tie to professional football, a follow-up to the network’s 2024 hit “Holiday Touchdown: A Chief’s Love Story.” A handful of NFL stars will appear in the upcoming film, and one superstar player, Josh Allen, admitted he’ll be watching to support his teammates.

Heading into the 2025 holiday season, Hallmark fans will have the opportunity to check out “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story.” A premiere date has not yet been revealed, but filming has been completed.

Several names of NFL players who had cameos in the film have already been revealed. Could Allen be one of them? So far, there is no indication that this will be the case. However, he recently shared a few brief teasers about the film and whether he’ll be checking it out.

Josh Allen Will Watch the Hallmark Movie to Support His Team

In a chat with USA Today Sports, Allen was asked about the film. It does not sound as if he will appear in it at all. However, he said he will probably be watching.

He said, “I think I’ll watch it. There’s gonna be a lot of teammates in the movie. So, I know that they were nervous about it and had some lines, but I’m sure it’s going to turn out pretty good.”

Allen added, “We’ll throw it on. We’ll watch it.”

Buffalo Bills fans who watched the video clip with Allen on TikTok seemed willing to check the Hallmark movie out, too.

One TikTok user admitted they didn’t necessarily love Hallmark movies, “But I gotta watch it.”

Another admitted that Hallmark has the “corniest Xmas movies ever,” but added, “gotta watch it to see how corny this one is.”

Someone else suggested, “He’s going to be in the movie,” and they added a skull emoji to the end of their note.

The Film Has a Star-Studded Cast of Hallmark Stars

The Kansas City Chiefs movie with Hallmark starred Tyler Hynes and Hunter King. The Buffalo Bills collaboration features Hallmark stars such as Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, Tracy Pollan, Joe Pantoliano, and Patti Murin. In addition, fan-favorite Hallmark hunk Andrew Walker filmed a cameo for the film.

According to WIVB, Buffalo Bills players Joshua Palmer, DeWayne Carter, Reid Ferguson, Dawson Knox, Dion Dawkins, Ray Davis, and Damar Hamlin will appear in the film. The Buffalo Bills head coach, Sean McDermott, will also pop up, as will legendary Buffalo Bills alum Jim Kelly and several others.

The Hallmark Channel released its first sneak peek at the film in July, and more details about air dates should emerge soon.
